hey sup yall,

any doing SE0 OR SE1 and succeeding in 2017?

I'd like to get back into it and make monies like back in the day but not sure how to get started, have things changed at all?

Yeah Lot of thinks changed. The current SEO techniques are much easier than before. Ranking depends only on quality works.

SEO is dead. Nothing to see here. But seriously I can't believe how easy it still is in 2017. Even fucking autoblogs are working for me. Just google "buy viagra" and you will see methods from 2006 still working. For those of us still in the game its a golden age. A ton of competition got wiped out in the last few years and the death of seo forums has killed of competition. Its actually much less competitive than 2010. Its sad that people don't share anymore but its understandable. I really want wickedfire to return to how it was in 2010. Maybe we can revive it somehow.

Now it totally depends on new/unique content man. With Google webmasters, you can track every detail about each article you publish. And make progress accordingly.

SEO will always be alive, the question is whether you like fucking around with Google 24/7, trying to rank your penis enlargement site or maybe build something sustainable instead, which will last more than 2 months...

So can I add you to my ICQ to share tips?

7 years haha wtf But yeah some new ranking factors were introduced like pagespeed, SSL, mobile-friendlyness etc.

Register on Builder Society forum and read their Digital Strategy Crash Course - that's all it is.

This. I posted some info in that course as well.

Once done, sign up for SERPWoo.com and start studying your niche specific SERP so you can get a leg up.

I hadn't touched SE0 since 2010.

So, I went into it without researching shit at the beginning of 2017 and thought, "well, I know Google still has to like big sites linking to my site", so, I came up with a couple viral videos very loosely related to my niche, embedded the yt videos on an article on my site, and got some big sites to cover them like dailymail/mashable etc.. and whattaya know, from 20 visitors from Google at the beginning of the year, to 5k a day now. sprinkle in regular related content... and it keeps growing.

more whitehat'ish, but it works.

SEO isn't dead, it just changed its priorities. Now focus should be on creating remarkable content, and then on getting users to rabidly consume and share that content.
