After Tomorrow No More Rebills

Too Much Shade. That is the problem. Many of us advertisers where happy in their wool coats and a bunch of guys decided they wanted lamb chops and started slaughtering with really poor, deceptive and illegal practices.

Think about it, this got so bad that Congress got involved. Congress never got involved with Columbia House and 10 Records for a penny....becuase they did not out and out screw people.

This doesn't make any sense, so you we're wearing wool coats, the greedy guys, well we don't know what they were wearing but they wanted to eat lamb chops? What were the honest guys eating? It sounds to me like the combination of the legit merchants and shady merchants got a much higher utilization out one lamb with the wool going to the honest guys for clothes and the edible bits going to the crooks. Warm and hungry, or cold and sated I guess is the moral of your weird weird analogy.

I think you are missing his analogy.

By "wool coats" he was alluding to just shearing "consumers" wool allowing them to live another day in order to shear again in the future.

By transitioning to "lamb chops" he was implying that some desire to pillage thus slaughtering the "lambs".. Eg "consumers"

Better put, his analogy would be killing the golden goose for its meat as opposed to living forever off its eggs.

His other point is correct.. my theory would require bulletproof procedures with a product possessing a modicum of intrinsic value.. if so, it'd work better than you can imagine. Done with shade, it'd result in a world of hurt.

Yeah, I actually got it, I wouldn't actually think that somebody would mix food and clothing comparisons in a non-metaphorical way. I was just throwing some sarcasm into the mix... it happens here on WF from time to time ;)

Anyone who has merchant accounts... call them up and ask them a random question regarding your account. I recently had to modify some info (legitimately) only to find out the account was closed without notification! Thank god I happened to call the same day!

Who closed your account.. call them out... I hate sleazy merchant processors... they are some of the sleaziest people on earth.
 
It was Meritus. I called my intermediary right afterwards and apparently they did this to all their re-bill acocunts.

Serious about Meritus shutting lots of advertisers accounts down? Yes.

Serious about offers going down across the board on CX/CB/Nblue and other networks? Yes.

Serious that Rebill Affiliate Marketing is dead and you should shut down all your campaigns? Yes.

seriously if you are not doing the right thing by people you are going to get burnt... I just think that people on this forum need to realise that there is more at stake than "ohh look at these rebills.... oohhh they are going down....Affiliate Marketing is dead!!"

My advice is harden the fuck up get your heads out of your asses and start doing something that will get everyone a result on a forum rather than getting peoples back up.

The smart thing to do in this sort of scenario is work together. I am sure now that no one on this forum really gives a rats ass about others. Infact I bet that if no one on here was making a buck from other members they would be eating bread crumbs for dinner every night.

Watch the DVD called "The Secret"... it teaches people about the power of attraction... you want wankers and no hopers using this forum... well guess what you stupid fucks... YOU GOT THEM!!!

Yeah, it's them. In fact they are placing most of the accounts that were closed on the TMF file, even if your cb ratio's were fine and you didn't break the terms you signed with them. When there are rumors that visa/mc are coming after you with an $100k fine per noncompliant descriptor I can understand they probably shit their pants, but they also jumped the gun and put a lot of people on the master list they shouldn't have.
