Affiliate Summit East

^ this. tired of NYC.
Damn, tired of NYC? I love excuses to come back to NYC.

I'd take NYC for ASE over ASE in Boston, for sure, but I'd love for a Miami ASE, Atlanta, DC, or maybe even Philly if ASE had to change venues.

I'm going just as an excuse to get back to NYC and hang with a couple of people I don't see often. 99% sure i won't even go to the conference, but last year was a blast and I can't wait to go back.

I mean I don't mind driving 40min into the city for this thing,

but miami would be a good alternative

Hey Shawn why NYC again? I hate going to ASE and then Adtech both in NYC. Was really nice to have ASE in a different city then Adtech for us peeps that travel in. Miami was fantastic. Chicago would be fun. New Orleans?

We poll the crowd each year on the city they want us to go to and NYC won - we go where the highest percentage of people say.

It's always been Vegas in the west from those votes and Orlando (06), Miami (07), Boston (08), NYC (09, 10).

New Orleans?

New Orleans would be INSANE. I would go in a heartbeat.

edit: Affiliate summit won't do this cause it's not east or west (I MEAN WHAT WOULD IT BE CALLED???) We should start something, or you should have one of your A4D meetups there.

I too am a week late for the discount!

Just trying to network, should the silver pass be good?

Only thing i disliked about AS, and I've said it to both the founders, is that they have too many people who speak who haven't made $1 in affiliate marketing. A bunch of guys who wrote books, sold on amazon, but never ran an affiliate program, never made a dollar doing an affiliate program.

I'd like to see more people who have made millions doing this shit, instead of people who talk about it all the time.

So why not just get on the floor to shake some hands and toss out a few business cards? I just got the silver pass to just network and find some traffic sources.

I'll retract that people who speak haven't made more than $1.00 - that's a bit of an exaggeration. In general AS is very good, knowledgeable people and will be around for a while. It's a must show. Sorry if anyone felt I was criticizing it in general...

My apologies to Shawn and Missy. (Ass kissing)
