Adiakritos Journal

I wouldn't go with a free service you're limited to what you can do with it. Hosting and domain fees are super cheap. If you're hurting for money so bad that you can't afford that then I recommend using your writing ability or skills elsewhere to get some funds so you can not only afford that but also a small marketing budget of some kind. This is a game where it takes money to make money in MOST cases. Not a lot of money, just some money. :)

please don't buy anything more than the best spinner and scrapebox at first. The majority of programs out there are complete and utter shit and aren't worth your money, but both of those are great to start with.

Do things manually at first. Setup google alerts for your keywords and see what comes up each day, then write articles based on those topics. Comment on the articles that come up.

You need a good base to start off of. 2 hours of blog commenting and 2 hours of writing will take you pretty far if you do it consistently

4 hours total of commenting and writing each day?

it was really an arbitrary timespan chosen by me. The real point I'm making is that we don't build and seo sites because it's easy and doesn't take work, we do it because it's a process we can own from end to end without having to answer to a boss or clock in. You still need to put in the hours to get results, there's no magic solution.

I see. I'm willing to put in the time. For me is a matter of focusing long enough and calming the anxiety for a result in order to actually get some traction. I've been running in circles to long now.

I'm gonna settle with the nitty gritty work of one site instead of going nuts with multiple sites and projects and what not.

Don't be afraid to give me a well needed verbal smack down to get focused, I don't know how you haven't grown annoyed with this dabbler habit! lol

you're my favorite one thread poster, no worries.

Start with 3 or 4 sites, that way you can 1) test, 2) put your eggs in different baskets 3) not get bored.

are you doing all seo? I can try and write out a timeline strategy for ya if you are

Yea I'm doing it all seo.

I've got 3 sites I'm doing right now. One is a .blogspot url.

dchuk and adiakritos. You guys have been at this thread since Feb / March of this year. My first marriage didn't last that long. Congrats on sticking with it adiakritos. One of the first post of this thread was someone saying how these journals never work or last. dchuk and others appreciate all the indirect info received here from the sidelines.

I know, I suck. Luckily I'm starting up with two new sites right now so I'll pretty much post my strategy here. Will happen in the next few days.

How are your sites doing?

Dropped the news site. I was miserable trying to write articles on news.. lol I'll have to figure out how to sell it.

I'm still working on the counselling site. Its been getting like 18 views a month woohoo! =D

I'm almost done with an SEO timeline, been writing it on my lappy in a text doc to save the heartache of the browser closing with all the good stuff not saved. Been under the weather the last few days but it will show up here soon.

ok, so market samurai is just about the sexiest bit of software I've ever used and come to appreciate ever since my trial expired.

Now I need to figure out how to do what Market Sam was doing for me, only manually.

first up, its figuring out which keywords aren't in to much competition to jump in.

I gotta figure out how to uncover these things regarding keywords without the program..
SEO Traffic
Phrase to Broad Match
SEO Competition

I'll post back when I've found the answers.

seo traffic is just the exact match traffic reported in google's keyword tool multiplied by .4

don't worry about phrase to broad match, that's a fluffy metric

seo competition - install and use seo for firefox plugin, pretty much the same shit

back to writing out my seo schedule for ya
