Asinine? Repetitive? You decide, but I was interested in following a newbie's progress, perhaps following in someone's footsteps and find my way to making a living off internet income.

My goal is to reach $365/day in 365 days. This seems high in my opinion, but I see that many on these forums are doing far better. This will not be an increase of $1/day necessarily, as I predict my income will jump heavily at certain points as I unroll campaigns and finish setting up niche sites, but at the end of a year the idea is to have an average income of $365/day.

The idea is that you can do it too. Those interested could share tips, copy progress, etc.

My plan is to post my daily earnings and a quick synapse of what action has been taken on that day, every day, so you can follow the progress - and people can clue in with questions or tips.

I have never done this before, and so my attempt is to show that anyone can do this, starting now.

Day 1

Like most newbies, I am very busy with non-internet-related tasks in order to maintain a living. Starting out I will not be able to spend more than 3 hours/day on this, making it even more difficult.

I expect that it make take two weeks until I manage to even hit the goal at that point (14/day), and in the meantime my time will be spent learning and setting things up.

To start out with, I will be using arbitrage. I plan on sending 7search traffic to Adsense ads.

Today my time will be spent going around town to begin setting up the framework of my new business. I will purchase a PO Box, go to my county clerk to set up a DOA, and applying for a federal business tax ID.

repetitive - other people have done so - sometimes a good read - sometimes fizzlings. just start posting and good luck.

7search is a bitch right now - i cannot get the last account i opened with them above 1k keywords... all of the others i created before their new rules and still have the 10k limits- but a 1k limit on new accounts seriously will hinder your efforts.

Good goal. Great name. Just don't burn yourself out.

Definitely interested in seeing your progress. One question though, do you plan to use 7search even after their recent policy changes?

I also am a big fan of hard work and dedication to a goal. I too would like to see a progress meter as extra motivation for me and other members. Sometimes the journey is more rewarding than the results. Don't get discouarged after the first month. It's during those times that breakthroughs occur.

Thank you for the words of encouragement.

I do realize that it is quite a large goal, but it seems like keeping involved with the WF community here will help inspire motivation.

Regarding 7search, I do plan on trying to use it. I don't know if this will work or not, but I'm imagining with each niche I will try and focus on 10 or so major keywords, allowing me to still make 100 pages. At that point I will see if it is feasible to make another 7search account or to look into adwords, or somewhere else. Everyone seems to review the traffic from other similar-ranking search engines as pure crap, so I figured I would at least try with them. Good or bad idea?

My week's plan:
Tues. - Establish business (done)
Wed. - Apply for Adsense & 7search.
Thurs. - Set up Lerchmo's PageGen script (and hopefully split-tester if I can figure it out)
Fri. - Niche research. (hopefully acceptance in adsense and 7search by thos point)
Sat. & Sun. - More niche research and begin creating pages.
Mon. - Probably creating more pages.
Tues. - Hopefully go live.

I'm hoping it's all feasible, but I will have to see as the week goes on! Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

well, good luck in your quest.

i don't want to spoil the party, but my acceptance into adsense took me three weeks. don't know about others though.

Okay, here is a proposed template layout. Shitty graphics I know, but it's easy to quickly throw it up in an imaging program before making it a sleek reality.

Any tips on ad layout? I know CTR is a big issue. Any ideas on how to attract attention to the ads without using images and violating Google's TOS?

Welcome to the board and good luck on your journey to profits.

I was a newbie to arbi back in november when I joined. Since then, I have learned TONS from this forum. But the most important thing I learned was doing things my own way.

Nothing against lerchmo's great template+script, but I decided to go my own route and create everything from scratch and do thorough testing and dilligent niche research.

As they say - hard work pays off, and I have now ended up on a template that never drops below 75%. My ROI is consistently 3.5 to 1 and each new arbi site I put up make $50 profit or more per day. Just 18 more of those and I will pocket $1000/day from arbi alone. I'm also diversifying with PPC->affiliate as well but have yet to reach the ROI of my arbi at this point.

I'm not saying all this to brag. I'm saying it so that you can stay motivated and truly believe in yourself that you WILL make $365 a day, and that you WILL reach that goal much sooner than 365 days. :) Trust me, it is not a far fetched goal at all. In this business, the sky limits your salary. :D

Good things come to those who wait (and work hard. and never quit.). :)
And my last tip is in my sig... ;)

Good job, bro. But don't neglect to point out how much of that is actual profit.

Day 2

Today I spent about 30 minutes creating a blog at Blogger: Create your Blog Now -- FREE. I just picked a random topic, did a news.google.com search on that topic, pulled three articles, and posted them to my blog. I left 2-3 sentence comments, and backdated the earlier entries to make it look like I've had it up for a couple days.

After that I used the new website to apply for Google adsense and 7search.

I have a couple questions for ImageandWords if he wouldn't mind answering (no need to be too specific of course).
1. Should I focus on quality content? If so, should my arbi pages look like full sites with multiple pages or just one page with no links except for the ads? I understand here that most people recommend only one page, with only enough relevant content to get targeted ads, used as exits. The later, common knowledge plan was what I was planning on following.
2. Any tips oh which sort of niches to look for? Perhaps specific products "nokia xxxx phone", more general products like "cell phone", or perhaps more topics more like "stock investing" and the like?

Thanks for any tips.
