Interesting idea. But if you have a bunch of 1/2 second to 10 second spots run together, why the hell would anyone want to watch it? And if it doesn't get watched, what good is it?

Anyhow, I like the look of your site, very clean and easy on the eyes. Wish you all the luck in the world! I really hope to hear that you made $100K off of it.
 
Very interesting, idea, it does seem a bit pricey though for a half second.
 
Haha. I visit these forums alot, I guess it can be considered spam but I am fairly active on the SitePoint, YoungEntrepreneur forums. If you feel it is necessary to take it down, go ahead.

I'll let you keep it if you become more active here rather than at queer SitePoint, because we can benefit from posts and conversations better here than those guys can.
 
heh, jons a dictator ;) anyways, not this wont work because there is not point in the video besides brand awareness which you wont get much of with half a second. since there is no link to the actual sites in the video, there is very little value.
 
Not true, all customers get a description/link on our webpage. Also if you buy lets say 5 seconds and it does get national attention, the advertising dollars you spent would be well worth it.
 
$150 for 1/2 a second seems a bit pricey doesn't it? Wouldn't they have more luck doing $150 for 5 seconds, so a video can actually be shown?
 
it seems more appealing to me then milliondollarhomepage or 500words. like you said, if those sites worked, i don't see why your's couldn't. it all comes down to the publicity though... gotta get the buzz out.
 
Ya, I am trying to think of some publicity ideas other than spamming these forums, sorry mook! If you have any suggestions, I'll freely take them.

You have to realize that the reason 500 words worked is because Joel Comm has a large email list that he sends offers to. People on his list bought the words and helped him get the word out.

I'm not trying to put a damper on your idea, just letting you know that it helps to already have a market with these sort of things, because success is all about how well you can get the idea out there.
