Supreme court strikes down Chicago gun ban, expands gun rights

life experience > self entitlement

bwahahahaha ... I'll have this conversation with you after you've been weened off of mommy's teet for a few years. Until then, you just keep livin' the dream because you're good enough, you're smart enough .. and Doggon it, people like you.
Who the fuck are you (or anybody) to determine what type of life experiences are good enough for somebody to finally be eligible to vote?

I'm personally paying $40,000/year out of pocket from my affiliate money to go to college (more money than most people spend on their mortgages) with no help from my parents (whom I easily outearn). So under your system why the fuck can they vote but I can't?

For somebody who claims to support liberty, you seem awfully keen to take liberty away. You telling American citizens they have no right to vote seems no different than telling American citizens they have no right to bear arms.

But if you're not going to let me vote, you better let me keep the ridiculous amount of money that I've been paying to Uncle Sam.

You guys need to stfu and go buy a gun and celebrate. I recommend a nice semi-custom 1911, Les Baer, Ed Brown, WC, or possibly a volkman custom. ".45 A.C.P. Its like a 9mm, but for grown-ups."
Sorry for derailing the thread so much... its just erect struck a nerve. I've been running online businesses ever since I can remember (as far back as 11 years old) and it always pissed me off when a company wouldn't do business with me or forced a parent on the phone to legally confirm what I was saying because of my age. It bothers me to no end when somebody makes a blanket judgment about people being irresponsible or incapable because of how old they are.

For those with guns or want to filter out employees.

These are lists of thieves conviction records I managed to scan from governments website.

Zippyshare.com - thievesconvictionrecords.zip

Please tell me more to scan more of these.

I think vermins need to put you in danger first before you can legally shot these vermins am I correct?

Keep your gun ready in case the opportunity show up.

Well, hopefully none of them can ever get a job now.

I need to scan more thieves conviction record. 10 years ago, one of that vermin stole from me. I wanted to post his conviction records, the asshole choose not to get caught. Well fine. I'll just and post as many thieves conviction records I can find. Hopefully, one of them is the vermin that stole my stuffs.

I agree with the judgement but this is a ridiculous comment. They didn't vote against the 2nd amendment, They just put the "line" in a different place.

The "right to bear arms" doesn't mean the "right to bear any arms" or the "right to bear arms especially handguns". Handguns can be banned and you still have the right to bear arms.

Its about where you draw the line.

Unless you seriously believe that all citizens have the right to own a cruiser missile if they can afford it?

If there was any "debate" it was already settled in DC vs Heller. The Supreme Court already established what the Right was. The only logical conclusion when that right is not being followed by States is incorporating that right, in accordance with with the 14th Ammendment.

If the justices wanted to draw a line further (under some specious argument) that's fine. Here, 4 justices essentially said "Guns are icky" and voted no on incorporation, attempting to reverse over 100 years of Constitutional Interpretation, and undermine the Due Process clause of the 14 amendment- one of the most fundamental bedrocks of the Constitution itself and source of many of the rights and liberties in our system today.

If it was one or two making a statement that's understandable. 4 Justices show that there is clear lack of legal appreciation on the bench. I would say "legal understanding" but the Justices understand clearly. It's the public that doesn't understand. The Justices just don't care.

Unless the SCOTUS is hearing a case against 18 year-olds voting, it's a pointless debate. :repuke:

Dan Wesson CBOB FTW.

Nice! I looked at the Kobra Carry...love the fish scale machining, but I could have two of mine for what that cost. Based on what I've seen quality is about the same, but the name doesn't garner quite the same price, which worked out in my favor and didn't upset the wife as much. :D I figured it to be a pretty good score for my first 1911.

Nice targets also. :)

Dan Wessons rock. The build quality is good, even though they had a few problems with the sear and dis connector failing (some 1911's were going full auto for a mag), every gun builder has these problems though. If I could do it all over again, which I'm going to, I'm getting a full size Les Baer TRS. Its not any harder to conceal and shoots just that much better. But your right, for the price you can't beat the original Cbobs.

Helluva great day for Americans but it's kind of sad we're all excited about something that should be the default decision.

I disagree, lets take this thread further. The 21 yr old minimum age for purchase of alcohol is stupid .... lets lower it to 16 and raise the voting age to 30. For the youth, they'd rather have it this way and the country would be way better off for that trade off.

Kids will find a way to get drunk anyways but they have no fucking business voting.

Completely Disagree. I agree that most young people my age are idealists, but there are dumb people at any age group. I occasionally find myself in political conversations with "adults" and just shake my head about how ridiculously stupid they are when it comes to political understanding.

You should be an adult completely at 18. Drinking, signing contracts (many are requiring you to be 21), applying for credit cards, voting, etc. should all be allowed at the age of 18. You can after all fight and die for your country at that age anyways......

I think the point is that you're not a typical 18-year old(or however old you are). Most young kids are retarded, don't own their own businesses, and definitely aren't out-earning their parents. If the majority of young people were successful entrepreneurs, I'd be all for having them vote.

If you knew someone will bulglarize your house, you cannot wait and shoot him. That count as a trap.

You can kill a burglar if you have to, but not if you want to - Times Online

So what the fuck should we do? Count on governments? Karl Marx has won.

In my countries, intruders often come with cops. Government can no longer silence speech due to democracy. But cops tolerate right wing religous groups. You can't kill them. So you're defenceless. That's what your country will become.

Did I put list of thieves conviction records here?

The Garand is authentic. Manufactured in 1944 and issued in Belgium later that year.

Shoots nice too :) Too bad it's hard as crap to find authentic non-corrosive ammo.

While I'm happy they struck down the ban, the decision wasn't clear enough.

The chicago mayor already came out with the requirements.

Among those requirements, you're only allowed to own one handgun at any given time, it must be registered, you have to submit to a slew of background checks. Your name CAN be published to media sources if they want to know who owns handguns. The size/type/capacity of all handguns can be regulated ,ect.

The government continues to grab power, this is just a temporary blip on the control radar.
