Supreme court strikes down Chicago gun ban, expands gun rights

This thread blows. Why are we talking about electoral reform? 18 year olds are retarded, 40 year olds are retarded, and 60 year olds are retarded.

It turns out through all ages, some people feel entitled to tell me what to do with my life. I don't understand why, but it has nothing to do with them being "too young".

Edit: and yeah, there has been no comparison to how much we're printing today... but who knows if that's just because Banana-key is a retard or we're heading for apocalypse or if it's because OMG OBAMA'S A DEMOCRAT.

I have done more "research" than you might imagine. You'll note I am not making an argument about who is printing more funny money. Nor am I arguing about who is spending more. Those arguments only address the magnitude of the problem, not the problem itself.

If you let the government print, they'll print. If you let them spend their citizens' money, they'll spend their citizens' money. To argue about the amount is like arguing which rapist rapes more often.

As for your knowing that I am thinking of Bush and his spending on the war, no. Not even close.

This has been a good reminder that I should just stick to making fun of soccer.

I'm an independent that grew up in a democratic household in so-cal. My parents are largely against guns of any kind. I don't know how I managed to become an independent who sides with libertarians on most issues.

I fail to see how the 2nd amendment isn't clear:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

You have the RIGHT to own weapons. The government has NO power to infringe upon that. The amendment is a recognition of the right to, not a granting thereof.

The conservative right will destroy our progress while the liberal left will take our rights. I chose neither.

@45 they'll vote for whoever supports their lifestyle by providing social security because they aren't saving any of their money for retirement because they're trying to live an upper class lifestyle despite the fact that they make middle class income.

@45 they're more concerned about their job stability at their dead end 9-5 than defending the liberties of our country. The presidential election is turned into supporting whoever the news reporter you're watching on TV says you should support.
