Battlefield: Bad Company 2

You can cancel a preorder?!? Well fuck, that's what I'm doing then. I'm really not liking Battlefield at all. mGrunin pointed out a lot of the other stuff I didn't like but forgot about it.

Personally, I love MW2. Maybe that's because I could pwn your ass at it without cheating, but maybe it's just a better shooter. OH, and another thing that sucks about BFBC2, no in game voice. WTF. Sure, Vetrilo's better anyhow, but not everybody is part of a fucking faggy clan, or joins with a bunch of friends.

I like snipers in MW2. They're fun to run up on and knife, or blast with akimbo 44's. :)

Besides that, the game is pretty enjoyable, and once you do get good at it, all the small things before that used to bug you aren't as bad. When I first started, campers were owning me. But now, with a level 10 sensitivity, I can kill those fuckers quicker than they can kill me off even when my back is turned and they get the first shot.

That's why you don't understand it. When you went from COD4 to MW2 on the PS3 you noticed no difference.

When PC players went from COD4 to MW2 it was like going from a fucking Rolls Phantom to a god damn Honda Civic (bacause of no dedicated servers or mods)

Console players have never experienced a dedicated server or game mods, so they don't know any better.

MW2 was my first shooter game in years btw.
 
i maxed out all the shit in the beta. i REALLY LOVED 2142 and i played that for like a whole summer. I didn't see any kind of squad leader stuff, which I guess they might add later, but it seemed like anyone could call out objectives, etc. Overall the game seemed laggy, the hitboxes are retarded, medic is imba at least with the gear they give you in beta, and overall just not a smooth game experience. Also, fuck the apache.
 
Biggest problem is that too much shit is happening in the game at the same time. Fucking tanks everywhere, people driving ATV's, like 10 apaches in the air, people using rpg's everywhere. It's a fucking mess.

I'm still going to get a copy of the game though and give it a second chance. I can't really judge the whole game off one map and one game model, especially when it's not a final product.
 
I love battlefield games. They are the reason i never got into modernwarfare games because how could you when your so use to using tanks, flying helicopters, planes etc.

battlefield 2 was probably the last good battlefield game they put out and ever since then modernwarfare has taken its place and it seemed to spoil people in a sense that when a game like battlefield comes along they expect the easy-ness that is MW.

People in MW never had to worry about tanks, helicopters and all the other stuff so when they hop on a battlefield game and take a tank round to the face they whine and cry because this isn't MW where you sit and camp and wait for people to run by.

Battlefield games require more effort and skill because you actually have to counter your enemies and fight to take over positions. Not just respawn everytime you die in a random location over and over just killing people. Theres actually a goal in battlefield games instead of just getting the highest kill record like in MW2.

I think posting our own person opinion's on the demo so far is alright. I'm just pointing out the things I personally see as flaws. Not to mention that even though I may be "whining", I'm still going out and getting the game on the 2nd.

Just that based on the demo, the game didn't live up to all the hype it received. The hype made it seem as though it's a clear cut winner compared to MW2; but I don't see that.

Here are the problems:

- Too much time is spent trying to find the enemies. I was running around and at best would see an enemy once every 2-5 minutes.

- It's a bitch to distinguish a team member and your enemy. If it's your team member, there is a small ass blue dot above their hand, and if it's an enemy, it's a red color. Well when looking into the distance, it's impossible to tell, and even at medium range, I have to stare 2-3 seconds before I can figure it out.

- Takes too many bullets to kill someone. I noticed that it takes about 6-8 bullets to put someone down, so if you meet 2 enemies at the same time, it's fuck hard to get away with killing both as you would in MW2 with a quick spray.

Compared to MW2, it lacks action. I would be firing my gun every 15-20 seconds in MW2, in this demo, I fired it once every couple minutes. Fuck, in that hour I played I killed 6 enemies in total, and I do pretty well on MW2.

I'm still going to pick up a copy though when it comes out, since if they just add more players to each squad ( 20 on each ); and give us some stronger guns, it would be better.

You shouldn't be playing it on PS3... the ONLY shooter game to play on PS3 is Socom Confrontation. fuck, I have been addicted to that series for like 7 years now.
