NEW Facebook Ads

I have a question for your guys..

I have a campaign with like 50 ads, all oh them got refused except one (for no special reason, probably a misclick), this ad got a lot of traffic last sunday, gave me a very good ROI and then died the next day (I'm paying CPM)

I paused it and recreated all my ads 4 days ago, got accepted for 12 of them, raised my bids slowly until I reached the max suggested bid but I'm still not getting any traffic to them.. My ads have an average of 0.1 to 0.08 CTR but I'm not getting any views !

Anyone have an idea of why it might be doing this? Any idea of solution?

That typically means your CTR is too low in comparison to others for the same demographics.

It frustrates me too. I launch one ad and get thousands of dollars a day in profit, over the next 2-3 days it slowly drops lower and lower in CTR till it isnt profitable. I go and launch multiple new images and although they are profitable and even higher bid I just cant get any volume. It almost always, for me at least, has to do with the CTR.

I find if I am already paying the top end of Facebook's CPM suggestion the only way to get any more substantial traffic is to increase my ads CTR. After doing that I sometimes see my traffic jump 5-10X. Not always easy to do, but when it works, it works well.

It isnt simply the CPM that Facebook cares about, it is also the ads CTR. Which makes sense as they want a good user experience.

FB click fraud. its hitting a lot of people (including myself) hard today. make sure to check your network/prosper stats

Glad I'm not the only one, been seeing click discrepancies as high as 30% over the past few days. It's so bad on some demo's that I've literally had to pause the campaigns. Wonder if they're already on it?

me and a few of my partners are alerting facebook reps right now. i suggest everyone do the same so something gets fixed relatively quickly. and yeah i've had fluctuations of anywhere from 15-50% discrepancy (fucking outrageous). All my campaigns are staying paused

Weird... just got a bunch of emails for ads being disapproved that I deleted over a week ago. They were ads with age description in the copy, but unusual they would disapprove ads that were deleted.

I've been told a few times from FB that they can't see my ads or campaigns that were deleted. I guess that was bullshit and I'm the sucker for believing them.

This happened to me, too. I know that Facebook has been cracking down on ads that call out personal information (i.e. the iPad Tester ads).

not only is facebook charging for all clicks today, including repeat clicks and botnet.. they are giving 85-90% apps traffic.. on top of that they disapproving all ads even ones that are 100% compliant.. bravo facebook, great job today!

how much traffic do you push a day mr dombo

Lately, not much. Only about $1k/day on the couple campaigns that are still worth a damn. Things that were getting $1+ epcs are now lucky to get .30 epc. Some as low as .15 epc now. I thought it was just me or the categories dieing out, but looks like some people are having similar experiences with traffic quality.

Not sure what's going on over there, but it all seemed to take a dive around the time the new interface was rolled out.

That said, a couple campaigns are still doing fine, and they're broad targeted. But the traffic on those is trickling in.

Anyone had this message before, kept the already active ads (but non-compliant to them) running and had nothing happen?

I posted a few ads like 4 or 5 hours ago and they're all still pending review. Not a normal time line for approval. Anyone else having similar issues?

I got that yesterday. I just deleted those campaigns they complained about. Going to wait out that 48 hours, and then resubmit them again.

It's been about 18 hours now. Continue waiting?

I find that if I get really long pending ads times, I just edit them slightly, submit, and then re-edit them back to the original, and then submit it again. Sometimes they are accepted within the hour. Not sure if it would work for multiple ads submitted at the same time but it might be worth a shot.
