NEW Facebook Ads

Ouch! That's a hell of a lot of ads to submit at once. That was nice of them to pick 2 random ones to approve. Hope that works out for you.

Intense Split Testing.

Those two ads got 3k impressions a pop with no clicks, and went dead from that point on.

im the same. i dont see how people make money for longer than 3 days with only 3 ads

It depends on the CTR of the ad. The reason why I have to spit out 500-1000 ads a day is because my main campaigns have a low ctr, and once the clock strikes midnight, the impressions stop. So I have to keep putting up new ads to keep that traffic coming.

But, I do have 2 campaigns with a good ctr on a large demo, and they only have 5-10 ads in their ad group, and they have been running strong for weeks now, without changing anything, or adding new ads.

One of my account has been running only 2 ads untouched since almost 2 months. The CTR is consistent at 0.12% at thousands of clicks daily giving me around 80-100% ROI.

How about this, evasive?

Does anyone have any idea what is part of the algorithm when it comes to placing your ad on app.facebook.com placements. Going through my logs, I see that for several hours of the day I can have 75% of my traffic from facebook.com referrals, and then several other hours it flips, and now it's 75% app.facebook.com referrals. I'm trying to figure out what causes that, because on 1 of my campaigns, the app traffic is so fucking unless, that my conversion rate is much less than a fraction of a percent, might as well not even take that traffic.

Facebook and PayPal partner to offer another payment method for your advertising account.

It has been one of our key priorities to make the payment process easier for our advertisers. In the last year, we began supporting 14 new currencies and added a number of credit cards that we accept globally for payment of your advertising account.

Building on our development in this area, we've added another form of payment: PayPal. Facebook and PayPal are establishing a long-term, strategic relationship to simplify payments globally for advertisers purchasing Facebook Ads. PayPal will also be available for users buying virtual items in games and applications. By teaming up with the global leader in online payments, we are able to provide users, developers and advertisers a fast and trusted purchasing experience across Facebook.

In addition to the different credit cards that we accept, PayPal will be listed as another option for payment when advertisers create an ad. We expect to launch PayPal to our advertisers in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

In the meantime, you can read more about the partnership here. As always, we look forward to your feedback.

The advice I've been given is to take notice of the hours the apps traffic is prevalent and pause your ads during that time. Until they allow separate bids for apps.facebook.com vs. facebook.com and/or day-parting, this is our only option.

I have a question for your guys..

I have a campaign with like 50 ads, all oh them got refused except one (for no special reason, probably a misclick), this ad got a lot of traffic last sunday, gave me a very good ROI and then died the next day (I'm paying CPM)

I paused it and recreated all my ads 4 days ago, got accepted for 12 of them, raised my bids slowly until I reached the max suggested bid but I'm still not getting any traffic to them.. My ads have an average of 0.1 to 0.08 CTR but I'm not getting any views !

Anyone have an idea of why it might be doing this? Any idea of solution?

Somehow I'm on some idiots list and he sent an e-mail today that I thought was pretty funny. It's pimping some Facebook advertising product.

He has now officially FIRED Google for search
advertising and switched his entire budget to Facebook
(except for Gmail)

Why?

Because...

1. Facebook has way more traffic. Over 39 billion
page views a month

2. You can target ads so that only people
who really want your stuff see my ads... duh!

3. Facebook is simple to use and fast, you'll be
getting killer traffic in just a few hours

4. Facebook ads are 1/4 - HALF the cost of
Google Adwords

5. Facebook loves affiliates and they love their
advertiser and marketers...

lol, wut?
