NEW Facebook Ads

Okay here goes....

1. I have a Facebook account.
2. I am getting my email submit ads approved, although not crush or dating.
3. I have my referrers set up and working.
4. I have accounts with 6 major affiliate networks.
4. I have run campaigns with xxx clicks.
5. I have $18000 limit on a credit card with nothing on it. I have a line of credit with $19000 on so I can do $37K spend before needing a wire, if you get my drift. (Canadian)
6. What am I missing is a email/zip submit offer that's not getting worked over with a Gillette Mach III razor, if you get my drift.

If there is an AM out there who willing to help this simple old man in getting some offers converting on Facebook, PM me.

If not, then I guess that means I'll be burning up the phone lines personally on Monday trying to find an offer that an AM will personally vouch for.

I couldn't get IQ to work either. Tried it direct linking for the US, Canada and Australia using the offers at C2M. Had no problem getting traffic but it didn't convert.

I also tried some dating ads using sexier photos than I normally would but they didn't get approved.

I'm trying lots of other things though we'll see how things go over the next few days.

You're never going to get IQ to work in Aus. It's the most competitive niche we have over here.

Anyway I broke even last night. Still having trouble getting a couple dating offers to be approved. They say my image is too sleazy for the offer! So what if there's 2 ridiculously hot blonde chicks with some serious cleavage cuddling each other in the pic... :p

Oh and has anyone had some success with actual sales on FB? I tried out a couple offers a week ago with some seriously good targeting yet I couldn't convert. :s Though I have a suspicion my network is doing some serious scrubbing and/or just sucks with tracking.

And as the previous post states, if any AM out there wants to be an awesome person and give me a tip or two on what offers they'd vouch for, that are currently converting, hit me up with a pm. =)

So it's you that has been posting up half a dozen IQ offers in the past 1-2 days... Those ads can really get annoying after seeing them on more than a few pages.

Sticks79, to answer your question... YES you can convert traffic and make sales out of them... But you really need to research your product and narrow down your target market in order to get a decent CTR on FB and a profitable conversion rate with your product. Definitely look deeply in what age groups are actually going to buy this product and they're not just clicking your ad because they thought the ad was interesting.

Remember, generating leads and making sales they're two really different markets.

Oh, if there are any AM out there with converting offers, just remember that Canadians are thrifty, industrious, clever, hard-working, honest and pleasant to do business with.

Australians, on the other hand, drink a lot of beer and wander out into the desert to chase wallabies.

Remember that when you are deciding who to work with.

Ok Guys, I'm pretty new at this stuff so I'm hoping you guys can help me with a question. I was looking on facebook and I have about 40 clicks. I looked at my prosper202 and it has 40 clicks. When I look at the network, it has 10 clicks. So I pulled up the ad on facebook and clicked on it and it went through to the landing page (I'm direct linking). I looked at my prosper202 and it logged the click but the network didn't show it.

This means the offer is getting scrubbed, right? I'm getting ripped off? Is this common?

LOL, that's one hell of a stereotype example. Having lived in australia literally my whole life, I would say Australia is and will always be the most difficult country to convert. The reason I say this is because Australia is multi-cultural. If you were to break down Australian racial groups, I would say there's less of Australian Native English speakers when compared to the Asian population in Australia. There's also the Aboriginese, a lot of people from European countries like Greece and Macedonia (quite alot of Lebonese too). It's really difficult to understand the way all these different cultues think.

If you're planning on running ads for Australia, I definitely recommend for you to "Thoroughly" investigate your target audience. A good place to start doing your research is to look-up Australian Berau of Statistics on Google, or goto www[dot]abs[dot]gov[dot]au

OR, maybe there's a bit of a delay with their statistics system? Trying giving them a few hours, if the stats are still not showing up, have a speak with your Rep.

I'm breaking even on some IQ and survey's right now direct linking. With some tweaking there is definite potential here. Clicks are still pretty cheap, I find that I actually get cheaper clicks opting for cpm versus cpc if my ctr is > .1%
I'm having a hard time breaking even on the IQ and surveys. How many clicks/conversions are you getting when you say "break even"?

Also, this may be an obvious question, but is targeting for the IQ quiz only done with age and gender targetting? I targetted age 16-19, female, who are interested in "texting", and didn't get any conversions at all. What am I obviously missing? I also tried 20-25, and switched up male and female, but no luck.

Don't want to make it too obvious but yeah your targeting is wrong.

Anyone tried the IQ offer off A4D? I barely see it at all.

Thanks vashi000! It looks like it was a about an hour delayed, up to 70 clicks now and not 1 conversion. Time to sit back and analyze what the hell I'm doing wrong....

Is there any free software which can make several ads at a time? I know there is a $200 software around...

Where do you guys typically find out about the demographics for an offer? I've used quantcast and typed in the website I was promoting, but apparently that isn't enough.

All 5 campaigns stopped at the same time..

They don't hint anywhere to what your bid should be right?

From my experience, no, not at all.

My impressions basically ate shit as of the past couple hours as well.

I'm gonna get some sleep and do some analysis in the morning.
