Facebook is on a prude power trip today. They have denied like 20 ads in a row for me, so I finally sent this in and it got denied as well.

It didn't work, they are still blocking everything.

That is fucking awesome.

Wow I wish I would have copied some of the mean things I sent through their system back in the trial and error days..

sites for profit?

hi everyone =) i've been lurking here all day. you're pretty funny people, you know? I'm curious now after seeing all this. Are your ads going to your OWN pages, or to an affiliate link? It seems like adding to an affiliate link might just be way too easy, and probably not according to fb rules.

I want to try out something of this, but I don't have any products / landing sites or even affiliate memberships. For running ads like this, do I need to have my own sites? I'm not looking to make lots of money or anything, I just want to dive in a bit and see for myself whats going on here.

Are there affiliate sites that provide landing pages that I could extract to my server?
I'm still a little fuzzy on how most of this works. I'm feel pretty confident driving traffic to other people's sites, but I've never really crossed into the bounds of construction or utilizing one of my sites to sell a product, or an affiliate deal or whatever.

Are you guys being denied almost immediately? If so, you know that's just a bot? You're just doing something wrong with the grammer or spelling or something. For example xmcp, you did "are" in all caps. That would have been tagged. If you already know all this, then never mind, maybe it will help someone else. Also check your spacing. If you double space, it denies it.

Let me go ahead and add something here so I can subscribe to this thread. I am advertising on facebook and have managed to make money on an email submit that pays out 1.50 while paying .22 cents a click. If you're trying to get sales from FB, you are going to have a rough ride.

I think many people can't stomach losing money for a few days until you can start lowering the bids...that is if your ctr is good. I've noticed you start getting into trouble when your ctr starts to fall below 0.06 consistently.

Okay is this the part where I put my neverblue referral link?

0.06 Seems to be the magic number I see new ads stop as well.

I have had a few established ads (on for 3/4 weeks) dip to .05 but still sustained traffic and are still running

Heh mine were submitted awhile ago(2 weeks maybe?), and I watched the hit come in. They definitely passed auto-inspection. I know why they dislike(most) of my ads. But hey. They also dislike the most profitable ways to run them.
Btw, to anyone else having an issue(mine right now is not approval related), don't bother calling the headquarters. Absolutely useless. No matter what your question/concern.
