Trump for US President?

Therefore, he would not be able to see that Europeans are uniquely individualistic while Asians in general are highly collectivist across all countries.

You say that as if it's a bad thing. Granted, Asian societies are quite collectivist / communal, but you see it as a fault whereas I see it as a benefit. People here realize that a community is only as strong as it's weakest link, hence why everyone helps everyone, everyone is polite and respectful to each other, and why things like homelessness don't exist here.

You don't see people sleeping on the sidewalk, or anyone going hungry here. You also don't see greedy, selfish cunts sucking the govt's tit with things like their Obama phone, whereas welfare is an ever increasing problem in the West.

No dog in this fight, but as usual nothing Kiopa_Matt said is true.

Bold are some classic quotes of pure, unadulterated, steaming bullshit.

I've never complained about my neighbors hating me, although you have on multiple occasions. Projecting much?

In fact the only time I have ever had a problem with a Thai, I caused it by being an asshole, for which I got a slap (as I deserved) but not before I was given multiple chances to walk away.

Point being, to get a Thai to actively hate you, you have to work at being a cunt like it's a fucking job. Something I see you have mastered the art of though.

But back on topic, you said...

... and why things like homelessness don't exist here.

You don't see people sleeping on the sidewalk, or anyone going hungry here.

This is 100% bullshit and you know it. Or you would if you ever stepped outside of you sheltered little bubble of a life.

So before you call him names or accuse him of not being more than a random internet person, recognize and respect just whom you're meddling with and what he's fully capable of doing if he chooses to.

I don't mind being accused of being a cyber bully because I was a jerk to Kiopa_Matt.

What really annoys me is how charlesmartel and others believe that Trump is a serious Presidential candidate when Trump is nothing more than a showman. You made a great point in the 50 cent thread about what a huge joke Trump is.

Doesn't surprise me too much. Back in 2008, lots of people thought Sarah Palin was kick ass, and she's about as dumb as you get. I'm certain that must have been an experiment, same as Trump probably is.

In other news, Trump surging in polls, nr. 1 in Florida leading over hometown 'hero' Jeb AND leading among Hispanic voters.

You keep telling yourself that Trump is 'just a showman'. He might drop out or get forced out, but his polling shows Americans are now suspectible to the kind of America First populist candidate. The tide is shifting, I don't see how you can't see this.

Hispanics vote overwhelmingly Democrat. There's no point in pandering them to get a few percentage points of the vote. Republicans need to get a larger percentage of the white vote. Running on issues like building a wall, keeping jobs in America, repealing Obamacare, and ending Common Core are directed at gaining a larger white vote.

Get a larger percentage of the white vote??? Seriously??? Republicans OWN the white vote. Here's the reality, until Republicans start appealing to a coalition larger than the white vote they will not win a national election. For midterms with the help of gerrymandering, and the fact that whites turn out more for midterms they got that on lock, but national elections are a whole other story.

They need more of the minorty vote(hispanics/blacks/asians), young people, gays, and women...they're on the wrong side of too many issues that concern those voting blocks, and its why they have lost the last two national elections.

Republicans also need to find a defining issue, something like Marijuana legalization, and run with it. Step out of the box, and widen that voting appeal outside of middle aged to old white men.

FL is not very relevant for Trump, since he will be out of the race by the time they actually vote. The common factor for in all these polls is:

1.) Trump has 95% or greater name recognition (Jeb and Hillary are around 90%, everyone else from 1% to 60%).

2.) With the exception of Scott Walker, there is a strong correlation between high poll numbers and name recognition.

3.) Trump has the highest unfavorables by a large margin.

4.) When the question is asked, most respondents believe Trump is not a serious candidate, even though they are choosing him in the poll.

Starting next week, there will be about 1 "debate" per month until the Iowa Caucus, where we should see the poll numbers go up for about 8 of the candidates, while some of the rest will start dropping out. Trump will drop out before the NH primary if it looks for certain he won't win it.

If Trump is serious about running, do you really think Jeb Bush is going to be able to outdo Trump in a debate? Jeb Bush who? The guy who can't even get support in his own state. And Hillary, soon to be impeached?

The perfect storm is brewing.

Nope, factually speaking, if Romney had simply gotten 5% more of the white vote then he would have won. In order to get the same amount of votes from Hispanics, he would have needed 70% of the Hispanic vote.

Makes it quite simple to figure out, what is easier, get 70% of the Hispanic vote or get a few more white votes.

That's beside the point, because Trump is ALSO leading among Hispanics by focusing on topics that benefit the average middle class American.

Is this the most support that Trump has ever gotten before? I'm of the opinion that he's not actually wanting to be President, but I'm starting to wonder if I could end up being wrong.

Why wouldn't someone like Donald Trump want to be president? It's one of the biggest feathers in the cap a human being could ever obtain. It would take his legacy to a whole new level, catapulting him past his peers (the Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Elon Musks of the world).

As for whether or not Trump's rise in the polls is going to come crashing down . . . why would it? As far as I can tell, his rise is based on three things:

  1. He's smoother than butter on the mic.
  2. He has oodles of charisma.
  3. He's a straight shooter in a land full of sleaze with backbones made of Play-Doh.
None of those three things are going to change, and so I don't see any reason why Trump's success will, either.

To go from hearing the coerced, scripted, insincere b.s. these professional politicians spew out, to the straight-shooting "real talk" of Trump, is like night and day. The American people love it.

Trump's run is about over. Go check the news sites, any of them.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s criticism Saturday of fellow party member and Arizona Sen. John McCain’s for being “captured” during the Vietnam War brought sharp rebuke from others in the GOP field.

“He was a war hero because he was captured,” Trump said at the Family Leadership Summit, in Ames, Iowa. “I like people who weren’t captured.”

Fellow GOP White House candidate and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry tweeted that McCain “is an American hero” that all U.S. prisoners of war “deserve our nation's highest debt of gratitude” and that Trumps’ comments are “disgraceful.”

Ten of the 15 GOP presidential candidates are at the conference for religious conservatives.

Trump made his remarks after conference moderator, Republican pollster Frank Luntz, described McCain as "a war hero" and Trump was pressed on his recent description of McCain as "a dummy."

If the media wasn't the shit show it is, Bernie Sanders would probably become the next US President. He's far more qualified than all the other guys put together.

However, media decided they don't like him, so out the window he goes.

Bernie Sanders the limousine liberal/marxist who never had a real job is qualified? Socialism doesn't work. How far we have fallen from Ancap Wickedfire, to rooting for marxists and neocons.

I'm still not convinced that Trump is for real, but consider that Trump is a very wealthy man who has a history of flirting with politics, including running for Independent/Moderate party in the past.

The man is 69 years old. 'Tremendously' wealthy in his own words and obviously an egomaniac who has always been a staunch patriot (go look up his Oprah appearance many years back), why is it so hard to believe the guy is actually for real?

He is wealthy, established and getting older and doesn't need favors anymore to get ahead. Yes, some people might make his life difficult, but then again, a billionaire is not the typical easy target that the media can destroy.

Yes, he can be broken if need be, the guy is too old to probably care about himself, but family is another matter if they decide to go after his children.
