But everyone sort of gives you this crazy look when you tell them to have food, fuel and water just in case of disaster.
Who's laughing now?
Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia all had major storms go through (As well as other states) and around 60% of Ohio is out of power. Generators were gone a hour or two after the storm and now are selling for 500% over the pre-storm price. People are dying because of the heat, the national guard has been deployed to try and help get power online in Columbus and other areas in the state, but it will be FRIDAY before electricity is back on in many areas.
Now we're looking at more heavy storm fronts coming through with the potential for more damage & tornadoes.
It interests me when people say "You're crazy, someone will take care of me when bad things happen." Now those people are going to have to deal with their lack of planning.
