Awesome, thanks.

I noticed that looking for foreign keywords in keyword discovery only gives me back English keywords. Would it be possible to assign keywords to languages that are available in semrush ? (They have Russian, French, German, ...)

Also noticed 3 letters of joy : CPC :liebe028:

Could you add google.co.jp ?

I'll work on adding it. I'm going to be enabling region specific discoveries according to what SEMRush API allows us.

the cpc is a nice addition.

hey D do you think you could eek out the white label report feature soon.

It's so damn close, I'm just tightening things up. I will be working hard on it for the rest of the week

^just keeps getting better and better

thanks!

Alright guys, the long ass webinar we did a few weeks back is finally online and accessible for all paid members. If you're a trial user, you do not have access to the webinar. If you are a paid user, you will see a link in the sidebar with the embedded webinar for you to stream.

We ended up going with Vimeo for hosting, which was a cool choice, they're quite affordable for what they offer.

Enjoy!

When are you releasing the dchuk t-shirts? I have been waiting, you tease.

In all seriousness, at some point in the next month or two I'm gonna order a batch of t-shirts with the serpIQ logo on them. When I do, I'll gauge interest here to see how many people would want one and then order accordingly.

I'd be interested in a t-shirt just as long as it's a cool material and not just a cheapy plain cotton shirt that doesn't wear well. Something like organic cotton would be cool.

That's not a very actionable comment, can you please send me specific details over a PM or at admin@serpiq.com so I can take a look at what is specifically going on?

It's more of a general observation and I was wondering if other people are seeing the same thing. I'd say my issue is overall the explorer tool now returns 50-70% fewer keywords and it always has a ton of keywords with domain names in them (I don't care if the keyword "brandname.com" is available as brandnamecom.org). I'll email you screenshots showing the results for the same keyword in the old API and the new SEMRush version and you tell me which one you think is useful.

Appreciate the response and the email. The current 3 main issues I see with Keyword Discoveries are:

1) less results
2) result with .com, .org, etc in them
3) some keywords get hung

The good news is, I can solve all three of them before the end of the day

1) I will bump the number up
2) I had previously instituted code with the Google API to handle that, but never carried it over to SEMRush. Will do that today
3) Some keywords simply aren't in SEMRush's database, but I haven't setup proper error handling code to account for that. This one leaves our hands tied pretty good, because we're only as expansive as SEMRush is. I will take care of the error catching so you at least don't see the spinning wheel of death forever, and will keep hounding google til they love us tenderly again.

The unfortunate reality is that I've literally seen entire keyword research companies close up shop recently because of the bullshit google pulled. We're doing our best considering the circumstances and will continue to innovate from a variety of angles to make sure quality remains the same despite outside circumstances.

In other news, my main development machine was in the shop until last night so I've been hindered with coding until today. I can FINALLY go full bore now, and plan on doing so all day and night tonight and tomorrow and through the weekend. So we'll have these issues cleared up shortly and then we'll be launching our new stuff very soon.

Stay tuned and thanks for the support and feedback guys, it's very helpful to us.

I definitely appreciate your responsiveness to dealing with people's issues with the service. Overall I love the tool, hopefully the keyword discovery becomes a useful part of it again.

Other than that are you going to upload any of the other webinars? I just listened to the Aug 27th one you have up and found it pretty useful. Unfortunately I'm not able to attend them as they always seem to be on the weekends and while I work 60-80 hours a week I try to devote my time on the weekends (at least during the day) to my wife and son. I'd like to be able to see the other ones if you're able to get them online.

well our serpIQ overview webinars are the definition of repetitive, the first 45 minutes of each is just covering how the tool works. I've posted one of them to here: Saturday 07/02 Webinar - serpIQ Blog but I can post a fresher one to the webinar page as well. All future member-only webinars will also be added to that page.

Also, we're G-rated webinar hosts and welcome all family members to our presentations :)

+1 for good support. I just had some issues immediately after signing up and both dchuck and Grindstone were very quick to get it resolved.

Stage 1 of PDF Reporting is Complete

So there are two major phases of doing PDF reporting:

1) serpIQ branded PDF reports for the Professional Plan ($59/month). If you have that plan level, when you view a keyword you'll now see a link under reanalyze that looks like this:

a1uc3h1lozlw.png

Click that button, and a new tab will open, and in a few seconds, you'll see an optimized PDF version of that same keyword that you can save and email or print out and pimp out to a client.

2) White Label Reports - Tomorrow, we'll be launching a new plan level, the Agency Account. This is targeted at those users with clients with bigger budgets who need to be showing their clients reports with their own logo on them (as if they created them from scratch). This plan will also allow 150 competition analysis runs per day and 75 discoveries per day. These white label reports have made our beta testers TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars simply because of how much they impress their clients.

When we launch that plan, I'll update the thread again with more details.

Please give it a go and let me know what you all think!
