NEW Facebook Ads

Pretty much.

People do a lot of international dating, which more than ofthen pays more than US one with less competition and bids. Less volume but it's all ads up. Plus dating in CPA networks still have close to $1 average EPC, totally doable it seems.

Facebook Ads is a completely fucked up advertising platform. There's always a new problem. The programmers behind this shit must be drunk all day or something...

Check this out, when I look at my ad summary page, it says the suggested bid is $4.45-$7.76, but when I click "edit" to go change my targeting options, it shows a completely different suggested bid at the bottom: $1.26-$1.99

It's been doing this for days, showing drastically different ranges for suggested CPC on the ad summary page versus on the edit screen. (and without changing anything to the targeting options!)

I'm experimenting with a FB campaign for the first time. I started with a narrow demographic - Australian females 19-34 with specific interests, reach was estimated at about 60k people.

The suggest CPC range was $2.70-3.50 which is insanely high. Is it because I am targetting too small a group?

anyone else get the sponsored stories thing added to their account?

Yeah to add to this I created a campaign and then cloned it so I had 2 identical offers. Even though they were the EXACT SAME, they had different suggested bid amounts. WTF is that? :boid:

I woke up to this and I'm really confused.

I had my card hooked up so that it was taking daily payments out -- so I'm not sure what the issue is. Can anyone weigh in?

I've had this happen with two seperate accounts, your best bet is to contact FB for further info, I was luckily able to get my issue resolved and get both accounts back the next day.

Yes, the more targeted the more FB will increase your suggested bid. Doesn't mean you have to pay that price though.

I had a similar problem before - contacted them and it got resolved in a few days.

Thanks bud,

I was a little surprised to see it. I am new with AM so I wasn't sure if there was something I did wrong. I'm exploring PoF in the mean time though while my facebook account gets situated :).

nope, it didn't sow any suggested bid since last month, the stats on my page keep alternating between past stats and current stats since last month as well (for ex: when I switched budget to $10 from $100, it will show $10 or $100 each time you refresh your ads manager)
