Damn, I had had this thread up inn my browser for a week before the wickedfire ddos, trying to decide whether to sub to BLG or get senukex. The main thing that kept hitting me was that huge monthly price, so when senukex was released, that's what I went with.

Quick shout out to jschmidli and all at BLG.
After watching this thread for 6 months I finally signed up. Should have in 2010. Had a problem on my first project late Friday night and missed my Saturday launch of a three day run. The problem was entirely ME. jschmidli was available to answer my questions on Saturday and to correct my mistakes on the back end. Many hours after the cut off time he managed to get the project live on the intended launch day.
Can't say yet about the serp performance but I had the first reports in hand hours later. All properties live with tags / links in place. It's a beautiful thing.

If you setup a '4 day' project to start on monday, you cant schedule another project to run until friday. So the answer would be no.
Instead of an answer how about more questions. Sounds like a math, volume of links needed per month and overall link value question. If a DFB package cost $197 per month for 2k blasts per day how much does BLG cost per month that can also provide 2k per day? What would your total cost per month be if you had 1 DFB account and 1 BLG account? Now compare that to the cost of 2 BLG accounts per month. Of these two scenarios which would give you the most flexibility and diversity of links at the end of each month? Is it possible that a few days out of the month you could benefit more from another 2.0, link wheel, blog, bookmarking, article run vs. another xrum blast?
I haven't had the chance to use DFB yet so there are probably other factors that should be considered.
Uptime, that's a very valid point. One additional variable would be 'uptime' though. 
Doing both BLG and DFB instead of 2 of one service is that you don't have an all eggs in one basket situation. Really though, based on what I'm seeing, I see no reason why a person shouldn't simply continue scaling...get a few of each of the accounts and add in other services as needed.

Yah pity the fool that only uses one method / source for their business and I thought to scale was a given. 1 account of each or 2 of one was for a comparison example. Make 10 accounts of each if you need to get your head around the comparison of the two services. The end result should be the same.
As far as all eggs in one basket, since either service is mins to hours away from starting once you have paid wouldn't it make sense to go with the best fit at the moment? Also if BLG goes down 2k xrums is not going to fill that void. So I don't see in this case it being an apples to apples comparison as far as spreading risk between the two services?

Our blog and xrumer databases are generic in nature. I am not sure how we could target a niche and still promise/deliver a guaranteed number of links. Certain niches may not have enough valid targets.
