haha I think he skipped school on the day when they said Evolution takes millions of years.
Sounds like someone here hasn't come to accept that he lives on a shitty little rock where the majority of inhabitants believe in stupid, imaginary things and certainly can't come to any kind of consensus. But the fact of evolution is unanimously agreed upon. Why on earth would we stop working on it now. We still have much to learn about it. But we are sure of evolution itself as we are of gravity and atoms.
This is pure ignorance of what science is. I've been formally trained in science (physics), was a researcher on multiple groups, and have done countless studies and lab work. Evolution is a theory. There is no such thing as a fact when dealing with theory. This means something better could come along eventually and replace it, just like the theory of Gravity. Evolution is the current "most plausible" explanation.
Accepting that evolution is a theory doesn't make you a fundamentalist. At one time, there was a theory that light travelled through a medium called Ether, and at the time it was the most plausible theory, and was widely accepted. Well this got shot to shit real fast with advances in quantum mechanics.
Did you know experiments are still done to try and verify or disprove gravity? Why should evolution be exempt from scientific process like this? If another, more plausible theory comes around, should we totally ignore it and say "NO THAT'S RELIGIOUS BULLSHIT".

Learn science, fuck off.
Evolution does have direct evidence to back it up:

There are plenty of other studies like this you can find, I would be interested in knowing what you thought was circumstantial here.
Maybe in the delusional world you live in where you desperately cling to this fantasy that evolution isn't real. Before you spout of your ignorance and try to pass it as a facade of intelligence, you should probably know, excuse my french, what the fuck you're talking about.
A scientific law differs from a scientific theory in exactly one way: A scientific law does not pose or provide a mechanism or an explanation of the phenomena it describes.
Hence, Netwon's Laws of motion are laws because they only describe the mathematical way objects tend to perform. The Theory of Relativity is a theory because it attempts to explain WHY those things move that way.
It has nothing to do with evidence, despite whatever misguided piece of shit books you've been reading and that Youtube University class you've been attending.
^^^ King. are you just pulling this info out of your ass.
You really think religion or belief in an afterlife is somehow a wall to advanced studies.

Rusky, I remember having this same argument with you this same day a year ago.
All I have to say this time is,
YOU WERE RIGHT!
Christianity is the best religion in the world and thank you Jesus for everything you have blessed us with!!! Halleluyah!!! I'm savedd!!
Sorry but don't you mean that Christianity is the only true religion???? How can you talk in terms of best or worst, surely there is only one truth and all the other hundreds (or thousands) or religions are wrong.
Who cares.
Get rich bang bitch, jade emperor style.
Religious threads are troll haven.
Some might say it has... evolved. It's crazy how this thread has morphed over the posts. Here I am posting on page three and I have yet to watch the video in the OP, but I did get in a discussion on evolution earlier.
Your theory argument is a red herring. Evolution could very well be called "the Law of evolution" if it didn't consist of so much speculation with only circumstantial evidence, rather than direct evidence to back it up.
Evolution is no longer a theory, it's a fact.
This one only took 200 years: Peppered moth evolution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ie: Viruses aren't going to stop mutating the moment we found god.
Did that moth ever change into a fish, a lizard, or a bird?
But they've always been viruses right?
Just sayin.

Someone asked for an example of evolution and it was given. What happens when 1000's or 1000000000's of small changes like this happen after each other?
I find it amazing that if someone accepts the moth example then they couldn't take that to the extremes and see how different species could evolve.
LOL @ everyone in here actually arguing about religion.
There is no point in arguing with someone who believes in god / Jesus / the bible --- Just sell them some Acai weight loss pills because they will believe anything.
