Really, I don't see the problem there, and haven't noticed any affect at all. Think of it this way, if you were building these for your business, wouldn't you be signing up with your first name and last name?

However, a feature that would be cool is to allow addition for our own domains for posting to them.. Kinda like a mini LFE :)

Big Vote For This!
I have WP sites & Blogger & Live Journal etc I'd like to post automatically to.
Seems LFE is the choice at the moment but I've heard some negs about it.
Would LOVE BLG to do it.

Just signed up, looking forward to playing around with this, thanks

Let us get through our current batch of upgrades(new project types and such) and we will delve into this deeper. I believe this is definitely something we can do.

Update alert!

The Genie has decreed that affiliates should earn recurring commissions!

We have recently changed our affiliate tracking software. The new software enables us to offer more options and features to our affiliates. One of the most important of these features is recurring commissions. You can check out the rest of the details on our site. I will go ahead and answer before you ask. No you can't sign up under your own affiliate account.

If you already have an affiliate account you will need to sign up again through our new tracking system.

What's coming next?
We should have an API released to an additional indexing service up within the next week. Shortly after that we will be releasing our article directory project type. Stay tuned for more updates.

I read this on backlinksgenie.com:

"You may insert a date variable in your article text to create links to a previous projects URLs. For example if you would like to have links in your article to a project the has or will run on 12-1-2010 you would enter your link in the article as:

Random article sentence with an<a href="@@2010-12-01@@">anchor</a> link should be formatted like this."

WHY i get benefits from link to a previous projects URLS? there no risk to detect a footprint?

Another question is that if i can create new projects in web 2.0 sites already created in other project?. Adding new articles in that already created web 2.0 sites for example.

I am not sure I fully understand what you are asking when you said "WHY i get benefits from link to a previous projects URLS? there no risk to detect a footprint?" I think you are asking why build backlinks to your backlinks. If that is correct then the short answer is:

1. To get your first tier backlinks crawled and indexed as fast as possible.
2. To build some credibility to your first tier of backlinks.

And yes you can add new articles to previously run 2.0 projects. We call it a repost project. Our system saves the login info for each 2.0 project you run so to set up a repost all you have to do is choose the previous project you want to post to.

Ordered yesterday together with a Linklicious account combined to it. Looking forward to seeing results.

I do however have two questions:
1) Are the profile links of high enough quality to link directly to my main site?
2) Won't it harm to link new web 2.0 continuously to my main page?

1. This depends on what other link building you have done. If you just registered your domain a week ago and start blasting xrumer profiles to it you may get bumped into the sandbox for a while. If you have been building links to the site for a while you should be safe in targeting your main site.
2. I have not ever seen a site harmed by linking web 2.0s to it.

Any idea when the social bookmarking module will be up and running?

We will start on that project as soon as the article directory submission project is released which should be in the next couple of weeks.

Can Someone Help A bruva out?

FIRST TIME SETTING UP A WEB 2.0 PROJECT

I am trying to load a web 2.0 project but keep getting an unallowed character message for the Desired Subdomain box and Article Title Box. And for some reason the instructional videos have no sound for me.

I don't even understand the concept of Desired Subdomain.... What is that? And in what format should it be spun if I can't use the characters?

As far as Article Title I put 6 Titles in spintax and it keeps saying I am using illegal characters. How can I use spintax and not use those certain characters. If I don't use spintax, how are the titles spun?

Thanks

Here is part of the email that was sent out from support.

A subdomain is the "xxx" in xxx.wordpress.com. Some sites allow you to
specify a subdomain while others will simply use the username. Se ask
that it is spun just in case someone else has already taken the one you
choose. Our script will make multiple attempts if it runs across one that
has been taken and try another variation. Most people will use one of
their keywords as the subdomain and add a few random numbers. Since this
is part of the URL web address it cannot have special characters or spaces
in it.

Titles are also sometimes used in the URL web address and cannot have any
special characters. If you have a comma or a period in the title it will
give you that error. If you would like to forward the titles you are
trying to input to support and we will let you know what is going on with it.

Hi jschmidli, do you have plans to increase the number of web 2.0 sites? Thanks!

Yes we do. We have a new 2.0 script in development but we do not have a release date scheduled yet.

Update alert!

The Genie has been hard at work tweaking and adding features!

Today's update includes new date variables, new project setup forms, new date variable help page, and a feature for our multi account users that will allow them to switch between all of their accounts.

New date variables
The new variables are
@@2daysago@@
@@3daysago@@
@@4daysago@@
@@5daysago@@

You can find the new instruction page for the date variables under the help tab in the cPanel.

Project set up forms
We cleaned up our project set up forms. They are much easier to read and have new instructions as well.

Multi user account switching
We added a feature that will allow multi account users to switch between accounts easily. Simply choose switch accounts under the Accounts tab in the cPanel.

More updates soon!

AWESOME! Thanks guys, these updates will def save us more time.

I just wanted to give a review/follow up of what i thought of this tool/service looking back after using it in 4 different niches for a month or so.

Since using blg i have been building quite a few different link structures (comments, xrumer, web2.0s) to our T1 backlinks as well as web 2.0s with structure behind those linking directly to our money sites. We kept each project isolated as much as possible so we could see if the service justifies the cost - the bottom line.

I have posted updates in the thread of what we have seen from blg and has been impressive so far. The last 2 projects we did with blg took a moderately competitve keyword from pos 70 to pos 31, as well as took a weight loss variation keyword into the top 200's from nowhere with no other link building for that keyword done to a 3 month old site. Since we already have a site top 5 for the same keyword and knowing how valuable that site is and what it takes to hold that positioning, the jump into the 200's is pretty damn impressive if you ask me especially when it was a set and forget project.

Overview of BLG:

Can/Could you rank your website on page one for moderate to low level niches using blg?

From what i have seen, absolutely. Even if you were paraniod about the limited list of web 2.0's or burn through them in a hurry (the only limitation i see for our intended use), there are plenty of good vendors on here you can get quality hosted content links for low cost you can run BLG comments, xrumer, and their pr profile linkwheels to to pass on some juicey-juice. :D

Something i would like to note that almost made me dissmiss this service, due to the initial/temporary lack of being able to see consistant gains due to the tests being semi isolated, was that it does take a bit longer to see results from this if you are not doing anything to help indexing. For example, the last two tests(results of these being the determining factor of if we keep our subscriptions) i did to confirm consistant gains took 2-3 weeks/time it took for the links to roll out to see any movement. Now let me be clear when i say that, this was in no way any error on blg's part. Apart from the first two tests we did that i rss'd i wanted to use the tool as a "truly set and forget service" as it was intened. Being a rather impatient SEO, lol, i just wanted to add this part just so you guys are aware that it can take a bit longer, but infact you WILL see results if used properly building tiered link structures.

My feedback as a fulltime SEO:

Will blg replace our currently link building? not likely lol, however it has earned a place in our current link building plans due to the consistant results it has delivered as well as the amount of time, money, and effort it has saved/will save us on our bottom line while beefing up our tier one link properties. In addition, if you do not have a linklicious account (to get your links spidered) with the api key i highly recommend getting it, saves a shit load of time copy & pasting and we have seen noticeable improvements while using these two services together.

One of the things I would like to see are more unique hosted content options (web 2.0 properties/blogs/article submissions) available, we have 2 accounts now and can realistically use 15-20 for everything that we manage. Looking forward to see what happens with the article submission project update coming up. :D

@ Joe - Great Service and i look forward to growing more accounts with you guys!

Cheers!
