Airport Security?

So I just saw the colbert report tonight and he was talking about airport security and how its gotten worse in recent, and will be especially be bad for holiday travel. More use the dumbass scanners, and what seems like a really invasive pat down.

I haven't flown in 2yrs and it pissed me off then. I have serious issues with authority and what I believe to be abuses of it. I had totally forgotten about this BS when I decided to buy tickets for a pre-christmas vacation.

So has anyone flown recently and can shed light on if we live in Gattica yet? We talking ball cupping or still just metal detector sticks? Because there is no way I am getting into the full body scanner.

If you wanna see invasive goto jail. I'm talking fingers in the ass, butt cheeks spread, and in front everyone. Just wait till they start doing that to all airport passengers. "you wanna ride on this plane? Bend over we gotta check you for contraband."

The more I see and read the more livid I become.

Now a test shows that you can wear 4 times the explosives the Underwear bomber wore (probably more says the expert) and go undetected in the body scans.

So:

1) we are having our privacy violated
2) we are being sexually assaulted
3) we being forcefuly exposed to harmful radiation
4) They are torturing small children and the elderly
5) Our freedom (ironically by the government not the "terrorists" is threatened when we don't comply with choosing between one atrocity or the other.

Not because any of this actually makes us safer, but so a bureaucracy can look like it's doing something proactive.

I'm telling you, if you aren't outraged on some level then you should just go find your cattle prod right now.

yeah, as a parent of 2 girls I have the exact same views. Want to touch my balls - you know what, I frankly really don't care, FONDLE them and you're getting a knee to the face and I'll take my chances with a good attorney.

However- my wife? My kids?

Fuck no.

You fools don't realize yet this is all intentionally degrading. It is all INTENTIONAL. There are radicals in power.

They want to control all freedom of movement. On another forum, I wrote that the logical next step would be to place these "checkpoints" at state lines and land transportation hubs.

Several days later, they announced that they will now be installing these at train stations, metros, and boat harbors.

Once those are in, they can track and control everyone. Go through an airport, train station, boat harbor, or subway and the government can stop you, question you, grope you, irradiate you, and do all other manner of unconstitutional actions.

Obama moves fast. Him and his merry band of Communist radicals know they don't have a lot of time. But that doesn't mean there won't still be idiots, not comprehending what is happening all around them until it's too late.

^ Well after we go to war with N.Korea will need the security to keep out muslim extremists and N.Koreans. /s

On another note I got my kilt in the mail the other day. Its pretty fancy and weighs a ton. Some guy out did me though and went though security wearing a speedo.

Check out the comments in this article. The people are waking up and freaking out.

I predicted they would expand to land transportation hubs, but someone else realized they would do that too... and in fact predicted more:

In case you haven't figured this out yet,Homeland Security was created to control U.S. citizens, not terrorists.

I predicted the next target would be subways, trains, etc. Next they'll have random searches of automobiles. TSA is organizing. They are going to be unionized.

They are angry we are allowed to say anything when they are feeling us up. Obama said during his campaign he wants a civilian police force that would be just as powerful and just as well funded as our military. Now everything is in place.

He has John Pistole and Janet Napolitano to do it for him. We'll be afraid to look at them, to question them.

He snuck it past me. While I was trying to figure out how Obama would do good on this promise, he was building it right in front of our eyes:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwaAVJITx1Y]YouTube - Obama civilian national security force.[/ame]

Expand the TSA's access from airports to train stations, metros, subway stations... and then cars. Houses are next after that.

And remember, they are doing all kinds of unconstitutional crimes in the name of "security" and "fighting terrorism".

This is the army we were looking for. It's the TSA.

And we might just be too late.

If you're not freaked out yet, you probably should be.

Him and his merry band of Communist radicals know they don't have a lot of time.

This stuff has been going on for years. If there is a "they", then they have a way of getting dems and repubs to do what they want.

While I was trying to figure out how Obama would do good on this promise

If I recall correctly, his actual plans beyond that video clip had more to do with teaching people first aid and such than it did with communist testicle fondling.

This just in: Hellblazer realizes both sides are PISSED and he can't have anyone working together. MUST POLARIZE AT ALL COSTS.

As soon as the focus shifts to a political party, this issue is lost. Here is the real problem: when people vote, they put slave masters in place.

Democracy ----> Dictatorship

People think a democracy* is a 180 degrees from a dictatorship. In fact, the two are very close. They are separated by a fine line, and the former leads to the latter.

Ever wonder why many dictators are popular with the masses? Dictatorship is a natural extension of democratic rule. A crisis (or many crises) in a democratic society tips the scale toward the ascension of a dictator.

These guys:

... were popular with their people.

That's democracy. It leads to wars among classes and races.

This TSA bullshit? It is an outcrop of voting. Remember that when you vote for our next slave master.

* I'm not getting into a "rabbit hole" argument that the U.S. is a republic, not a democracy. I'm pretty good with history.

hey how's markethealth working out for you?

Great, how's last month's response working out for you?

You, incidentally, would be one of the deluded fools who won't understand what Obama's doing until its too late. One among many here.

But that's alright, it's great fun making fun of the Obama-tards here who are realizing what an absolutely horrific mistake they made in voting. These people are so stupid they shouldn't even be allowed to vote.

Yes, just like all your foxnews friends because you label me (and many others) "fools" and "obama supporters" that MUST be it.

Because I'm so open about my politics and conspiracy theories on here just like you. Comically I don't think you actually make a dime online, but you're just here from behind some desk at a corporate job to whine, regurgitate Foxnews talking points, and then yell at anyone with a differing opinion as a "fool" and "uninformed" even when they present supporting info.

You've got that act down really well though, so congrats is definitely due. Maybe try monetizing it, sell seeds and food storage to the rest of your kind - you'd bank hard at that if you were me.

By the way- the moment fools like YOU make this issue one just about party lines we all lose. Refresh my memory again who started the civil liberties slashing with the patriot act under the FIRST false "fear of who knows what" pretense that also led us into an unconstitutional war? (And btw, before you come back with the predictable - I've read every word of as I was in a college law class when that dropped.)

But party line politics are so much fun, especially when tin foil hat wearers like you gobble them up like a crack whore diving for some cock for rock in an alley.

Awesome!1

Anyone who defended torture as necessary for security, doesn't have an argument against sexual molestation by government employees at airports.

Once one accepts the premise that human rights can be violated for security, it is only a matter of time before torture of foreigners becomes torture of citizens.

Hmmm, which would you prefer? Dunking a terrorist's head in water, blasting your balls with radiation, or having your wife groped by a government "security agent"? So it's safe at this point to say that Sonny the Obamabot is satisfied with his "change"?

Excellent, there's more on the way. Hope you like these ball-blasters at sports events and train stations. Obama's changing the nation, keep defending him, after all you did vote for him, but wait... we can't make this about "sides" because then "we all lose". Better to stay unpartisan, objective, and neutral like you.

Really? Suddenly citizens and foreigners are entitled to the same rights? Amazing, I guess we don't need borders after all!

Are they human rights you get from your creator, per the Declaration of Independence, or are your rights as a human being dependent on how politicians in a government define them?

If you believe it is the latter, then the government can take away your rights at any time, because you acknowledge all rights flow from the state (Obama).

Last time I went through Tel Aviv airport, I took a bottle of water through security. "Oh, we don't care about that", she says.

Last time I went through Brussels, I argue about a 1/2 used (small) container of jam. "It's not a liquid", says I. Tilting it and watching it slide - "It's not a solid either" says she. Into the trash.

Good luck everyone.
