Some of you may have noticed the, for lack of a better term, sporadic nature of email notifications as of late. Whether being marked as spam, or simply not delivering, we've been less than satisfied with their performance. We've been hard at work integrating with an all new growl notification system over the past couple weeks.

What this means is that you will be able to receive instant push notifications across all platforms, whether it be desktop or mobile (iphone to start), without the need to continuously check email. We will still offered continued support for email notifications for those of you whom prefer that method of notification and hopefully be able to improve the system as a whole.

Plan on being able to access this new feature sometime over the next week or so.

Banklinks, read my post in http://www.wickedfire.com/traffic-c...ub-pages-aligned-google-maps.html#post1065668 please.

Will Sescout be able to address the same issues I'm having with MS? Which I think is what Rexibit and a couple of other people in this thread were talking about.

I think the biggest issue with this aspect of SEscout is a simple misunderstanding of how the system works.

If you simply use your root URL when entering a domain, SEscout will find your site no matter which page is ranking. If you mean that you would like to see every instance of your domain that currently ranks in Google for a specific keyword ("example.com" ranks in position 1,2,3,4,5 for keyword "example") and have a visual representation of this on the dashboard, this a feature that is currently in the works.

To reiterate once more so this is clear to everyone, if you enter ONLY a root URL when adding a domain, SEscout will find the FIRST ranking instance of that domain regardless of the page and use that for the ranking. If you want to see every page that ranks for a specific domain per a specific keyboard, that feature is coming soon.

Sweet. Especially with this new development. Official Google Webmaster Central Blog: Petits fours in your search results

edit: And btw even with some MS updates today, it still can't pick these up. So your product is, so far, superior in that way.

Thanks Turbo. In our opinion, SEscout's SERP tracker is far superior to MS. Google has become extremely aggressive at presenting influenced results nowadays. Nearly every search you make is influenced in one way or another by your searching habits. SEscout presents 100% unbiased results each and every time it scrapes. If anything, the fact that results might be different on your dashboard then your browser should be taken as a good sign. Users often forget to sign out (with web history enabled) or clear cookies before searching which opens the door for influenced results.

Whereas most SERP tracker's are struggling to keep up with Google on a day-to-day basis, we've built up an extremely flexible system in which we can deploy changes at a much more rapid pace.

Stick around we've got some cool stuff on the way ;] Hopefully we can convince you to ditch MS entirely in the near future.

PM me if you can hookup a discount? Im poor and just getting into this, but I am setup as a demo account and do like it :-)

Only early alpha and beta testers were eligible for initial pricing discounts. However, pricing has yet to be finalized and is likely to change in the future. I would urge you to get in on the current pricing tier while it is still active.

Just found this and giving it a try.
Was going to revive my old scripts but you saved me the trouble by the looks of it...

How does this compare to SEOMoz's rank tracker? I just paste in keywords and then it finds out what pages of my site are ranking where in g or bing.

Does SEScout require me to enter a url and a keyword I want to monitor for that url?
I want to understand SEScout better because since it's built based on WF members' input it's prob way better than anything else

Signed up for free account today. I have a feeling this will be WAY easier than what I've been doing (excel spreadsheets) and I'm pretty fucking stoked about it! Possibly even enough to pay... we'll see. ;)

It only tracks Google right now. I do believe they'll add support for Bing in the future once all the other features people want are complete, as well as the system scales some more.

As far as your last question about URL tracking is concerned, I'll quote Backlinkgurus' post a few posts up from yours and bold the important part.

Sweet, glad to have you on board. You can still export your keywords to CSV and import them into an excel spreadsheet later if you please ;]

Thanks Rexibit.

@crossfittn - Hopefully that makes sense. Basically yes you can simply enter the Root URL and SEscout will find the first page of that domain it comes across for any keyword you enter. The only downside at the moment is that you won't see exactly which page that is unless you generate a PDF or email report. This is soon to be fixed.

Just wanted to follow up about the tool,

I gave this tool a try and am now upgrading for a paid membership. :) Thanks for the great tool backlinkguru!

I have a paid SEOmoz membership and dont plan on quitting due to the over all tools i use there. However, since i have been using SeScout i dont even bother checking our seomoz rank tracker anymore due to the fact we have 100's of keywords we track and it is a major pain in my, and my staff's ass to dig through the list of urls and keywords to find our, and our client's rankings compared to checking SeScout.

As far as how accurate it tracks rankings goes, I have yet to see it incorrect and if it was a couple postitions off i didnt notice. I guess the only spots i really give 2 shits about it being dead on are the top 10. If i check the tool and see it says pos 39 and its pos 35 manual check it isnt going to effect our revenue, our SEO strategies, or ruin my day, lol.

If you are looking for a tool that keeps each website and its rankings for its keywords seperated from multiple projects you have going on as well has keeping you highly organized, i would recommend giving this tool a try. Actually just subscribe if they still have spots left, you'll be glad you did.

Sweet nelly!

White-labeling for PDF reports has arrived! Head over to the "Company info" section of the user settings page and start adding your companies information.

Currently there is support for company logos in the header, watermarks, custom footer messages and Address/phone/company name in a letter head style.

This is a PAID USER ONLY feature, all free users will still see the default SEscout reports.

Reports are pretty flexible as is now, however, we've received limited feedback as to how users would like the reports to appear. Please, if you have any feedback (would like additional fields/options in reports) let us know.
