Simple to use, easy to understand. Got my vote, and once I make some more profits, you'll have my business.
Best of luck.

Hostile creator but I guess dealing with the development was stressful & costly. Does your service currently have the ability to syndicate reports to my client SEO admin? I currently have messages, subscriptions, projects, billing & would like to make it full circle with the addition of syndicated/up to date rank tracking.

I tried my best to understand what you we're attempting to convey with that reply and I mean no disrespect when I respond with a simple, WHAT?

Can I confirm if SEscout pulls data from Google 10 results per page or 100 results per page? This makes a difference for the major keywords I wish to track.

I don't believe this was addressed fully, previously in the thread other than the option to remove duplicate domains will be provided at some time.

The pricing is very attractive, but I would like to confirm the above before signing up.

I assume "syndicated" means e-mail reports. So perhaps he's asking you if there is the option to send scheduled reports on the domain level to his client.

Earlier in this thread or on another he said it uses 100 per page (I'm fairly certain, because when he had the page snapshots prior to the new dashboard, it showed 100 results).

It really makes no difference, the rankings will be the same as 10 results per page. Google is still going to randomly put in their extra local, shopping, etc. results. Your ranking doesn't change when those are added, it's just moved further down the page if the query triggers one to show.

I'm not referring to the local, shopping etc. results. Perhaps for most keywords it makes no difference, but for the ones that I need to track, the difference is usually about 20 SERP positions, when you compare pulling 10 results and 100 results. That's because if there are more results from the same domain listed on the same page, Google actually "promotes" the secondary listing to be right below the primary (higher ranked) listing.

I've actually been looking high and low for an alternative SERP tracker to use. The ones that I use track the above situation correctly, but they are rather expensive.

Unfortunately if what you say is true (100 results pulled at a time), I don't have much of a choice here as I need that accuracy.

There are certain situations in which the above is true. As mentioned before, the only real "solution" for this is to add an option to ignore the secondary domain positions as actual results. However, there really is no rhyme or reason as to when, where or why Google is listing these extra results, there really isn't a true "fix" for this.

Why not simply try a free account and add your required keywords?

As far as overall keyword accuracy is concerned, SEscout is second to none.

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately the only solution that my clients will accept is a SERP tracker that pulls 10 at a time, so unfortunately your product is not for me at this point. Do let me (and the rest of us on this forum I guess?) know if this changes though, I would be more than happy to switch to a lower cost product which still does effectively the same thing.

Our goal is to make SEscout the BEST serp tracker… we already have a fix in place and need testers. Get in contact with us and we will be more than happy to work with you to get the results you desire.

Alright, I just signed up for the freebie, put in my ten keyword across 3 domains and so far I'm loving everything there.

If I stay this impressed for a few more days you're going to have another upgrade on your hands.

Two prelim thoughts:

1. It would be awesome if I'm tracking 1 keyword phrase across multiple domains for it to only count as one keyword in my plan... Afterall you're searching for it already every day/hour/cron run so it seems either unfair or inefficient for us to basically 'pay twice' for tracking 1 keyword on two different domains.

2. Looking forward to Bing rankings in the future! -Alexa backlinks wouldn't suck too.

Otherwise this is a Grade A+ service with no rivals anywhere on the web. Great job.

Aside: I checked out the WaFo and BHW threads for SEScout too and man I haven't laughed so hard in weeks... The personalities of these three forums really show easily, don't they? Most of all it shows the superiority of WickedFire over the rest.

Thank you for your input.

Concerning the same keyword point, it's not our intent to make it unfair. Currently, the ability to search different countries per keyword also keeps you from having one instance of a keyword across multiple domains. This will probably change in the future, but keep in mind the server expense of updating each domains data as well. It's less of us being unfair, as it is we are cheaper than everyone else in the world for what we offer, and theres still a LOT more work to be done.

We will likely be adding Bing to the list of search engines sometime in the future. Alexa backlinks would be very easy to implement, but we are really trying to avoid user overload with different numbers.

Again, thank you for your support and input towards our product. These types of posts really help us out in the long run.

Just joined the bandwagon for a trial run. Looks good so far. I love all the programs from WF members.

Started the free version, but whenever I try to sign in I just get a blank, white page. Tried using different browsers (Firefox, IE)

I signed up for the trial and I am excited because the service looks great (I saw your banner ad on the forum). By the way your banner ad is awesome, who ever designed it did a great job.

The thing got me is that I don't have to have the software on my computer, no messing with crappy proxies so I can check my SERPs anonymously. I really like that feature.

I am only doing SEO for my site (I'm a business owner) but I like all the features that your paid packages offers but if I am only doing SEO for my domain so then $30 a month is a lot of money compared to some of the other one-time pay programs out there. If the Lite package was in the $10-$20 range I would have skipped the trial and signed up for it all ready. In the long-run I would like to track my competitors rankings too but it's really not that important to me.

I only tried IE after it failed on Firefox thinking it might be the browser. I can acces URL's such as "http://users.sescout.com/user/me/edit" or "http://users.sescout.com/faq" basically any extended URL but whenever I go to "http://users.sescout.com/" (I'm guessing the dashboard) I just get a blank, empty webpage.

Send a feedback report through the site so we can get a better idea of what is going on. This is the first I've heard of firefox loading a blank dashboard.
