I wonder how many people -- excluding myself, of course -- will check this thread just to see if they've been listed?
I used to hate Dullspace, but he pulled a double win by 1) starting to post for reasons other than being a sanctimonious cunt and 2) actually turning out to know what he's talking about, unlike most people who hang out at forums being sanctimonious cunts and assuring people that they should just trust them because they know what they're talking about.
Turbolapp because I am Turbolapp's shameless #1 fanboy, and also because I actually have a ton of respect for her having jumped into this and gone from hot chick newbie -- the easiest target of them all -- to having respect and accomplishing a level of success that eludes the majority of other people who dick around and talk shit when they should be working, and in a pretty short timeframe as well.
Eli and emp and UG and most of the other "old guard" members, are some of the most valuable members in terms of the quality of stuff they post. When I came here I had more than a decade experience marketing online, and nearly two decades offline, and still I felt like a millionaire serving drinks at a club for billionaires because of these guys. An attempt to list them all would inevitably lead to one getting left out, so I will leave it at "Eli, emp, guys like that" and assume that you know what I mean.
nyranprooven and dchuk and Rage9 and other guys who can break down code and make it look like English, which is something I speak, instead of Swahipaneseish, which is what code generally looks like to me. Years and years of attempting to get a serious base of code underneath me has been largely fruitles. This forum has a handful of incredibly good "translators" and your assistance in getting my shit done is appreciated more than I can say. Like the "old guard baller" group there are more here than I could realistically list, so ... "people like that."
