I wonder why textpattern is not mentioned more often here, as I've heard it was a bit more complex but more flexible as well. I guess I'll have to test it for myself...

i use another editor on mine. Still a bit of a problem sometimes but I'm not a programer so it help make things look a bit better-usually.

That would tend to be my reason as well. No prblem with it being too slow, my mac runs like a charm...

I use blogger because it's easy as simple as that. I heard lots of good things about wordpress but at the same time I heard it's quite hard to use and that's why I never try it

Yeah, same here. That thing hangs up my computer like you wouldn't believe. Even so, Wordpress is the blog software for me.

I use WordPress on quite a few sites. As far as blogging software goes, I think it's definitely the king - and I have tried quite a few.

I also use Expression Engine on a few larger sites. EE isn't open source, but it's really cool and has an active user base. Also, search engines seem to love it.

I love Wordpress, and there are so many plguins and 3rd party developers.

Also it is so easy to customise the themes, once you get to know your way around.

Yeah, I'm just beginning to get the feel for editing the themes and I have to admit that it isn't as tough as I thought that it would be.
