did anyone stop to think that im fucking better at writing php scripts than running directories?

ive got my own share of projects im working on. i dont want to start a fucking directory. i can code a php script in a couple of hours and sell it, not get involved in a whole nother business deal.

ive got my own shit going on. im a php coder. now enough with the 'if its so easy then why dont you make 100k?' fine, dont by the script. go back to digitalpoint and keep buying your shitty ebooks you sheep. but for god's sake, shut the fuck up about it already.

Exactly. One of my pet peeves are the haters that always have to put their 2 cents in.

Unless the thread is an obvious scam, STFU. This section is for people buying and selling, not for sharing your opinions about a product that you have no intention of buying. That being said, if you do purchase a product from someone and find it to be less than advertised, then by all means add that feedback.

If necessary, I'm going to start modding unnecessary comments in sales threads. Keep it professional people.

Josh, I know I haven't really added any public FB about this... don't know how many have bought it or what not...

This script works really well if you're looking at doing something directory related... the time it saves and to output CSV works great.

For the fucksters out there-
Salesgenie dot com offers a service to look up biz directories of any niche in any area (they offer more comprehensive shit than just phone, addy and such... they do business credit, avg yearly income, stuff like that.

The company I work (hopefully not much longer) for uses it to get Restaurant's information to do direct mailers.. any city, etc, but we only use the Location name and addy.

My company pays these people like $200+ a month to run the service... PLUS!!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT
Those fuckers make you go through the entire list (region/city/state wide whatever you're looking for) and click a radio button next to each location... then you can only save then 1000 at a time (granted they use CSV, etc)

Still, it's a fucking rip-off seeing as how the company only utilizes the shit like twice a month.

Very versatile script...

We'll done Josh, and I am very please with the purchase of this product.

FYI josh, there's a guy on GetAFreelancer.com with a project up looking for someone to give him a scraper for yellowpages.ca... bids are between $100-300.
 
I know lerch may have seemed like he was hating, but I highly doubt he was hating, considering he could code this scraper in his sleep.

He was trying to offer advice on how to take yourself out of the middleman position, and place yourself at the top of the cash pile.

If the guy is selling something that works, and he's not juicing you or trying to fuck you over, let him sell it. It's his choice if he wants to sell something that he can potentially use on his own to make more. It's not like he's selling some shady ebook sales page type of pitching crap the gives you false promises. If it does exactly what he says it does, he's allowed to sell it here.

For those of you who vent about it. Fuck it. Go make a new thread about it in the Shooting the Shit section and gripe all ya like about it there. You don't agree? Fuck you, bitch about it there. You think he's being a queer about it? Fuck you, bitch about it there... see where I'm going with this?

I dont really have one as I dont really run a directory. I am just responding to the demand for a YellowPages scraper.

My previous customers seem to be overly content with the functionality of this tool and it sounds like its working for them great. Feel free to ask one of the customers have posted in this thread though.

It outputs to CSV format and I assume some directory script such as phpMyDirectory would accept that since thats what everyones using it for.
