It's probably because wickedfire doesn't have so many clueless schmucks about seo and we know our shit...
 
Here's my early conclusions.

All sites that used CEOSam's galaxy package shot up to page 1 this morning. Sites that didn't have a Galaxy or Universe package dropped from page 1 to page 1,000.

Do the math.
 
Wickedfire is pretty much dead sadly. That's why no ones talking about the update. I love this forum kills me to see STH only get a few posts a day.
 
I take back what I said about it being a stretch calling this penguin. All of our older established sites are holding steady while the newer sites powered by fresh backlinks are bouncing all over, does look like a backlink (penguin) thing going on.

I don't know who you're working with, but if you're using scummy to describe this industry you might want to reconsider your business model and connections
 
Biggest thing I've seen today is that same page rankings aren't grouped anymore. So the same domain can be in 2nd and 8th instead of automatically being 2nd and 3rd.

Any recovery strategy? One of my websites was knocked off the front page for almost every search term.
