I did a little research tonight and found this in an "animal rescue news" search.
Rescue for the rescuers - Lake County News-Sun

It's a 40-yr old, no-kill shelter that cares for animals that other shelters won’t, including dogs on chemotherapy. It runs entirely on donations. None of its support comes endowments or government funding and they might not have $ to stay open come Jan. 1. Here's the site: Save A Pet

There are also some dog rehabs, grassroots type places that work with dogs rescued from dog fighting.

I stuck with the animals thing, but if you guys decide what type of cause you want to help, I can research options.

Yeah, we wouldn't do work for large corporate-type organizations; the YMCAs and United Ways usually already have funding/budget for this kind of thing. Our target would be a non-profit that doesn't have the budget or resources to overhaul their presence, and would most benefit from our work.

Any other questions or concerns? Ideas are appreciated.
 
Wickedgood.com/.net/.org are taken, which is a shame because I like that name.

We could do Wickedgoodproject or Wickedmakeover.

I don't have many real skills YET, but I may be able to help with a donation to the cause. This thread just goes to prove that you guys aren't as big of an asshole as you want others to believe.
 
I'd rather give money not labor, and for something that's needed, most websites for Non profit chairties are a waste(they don't really need it). Money, significant charities, and diligent help is what helps the most.



I wish I had more time in the day to start my own chairty, i know one day i will though. I usually just blindly give to whatever charity asks. What are some charities you guys give too, animal cruelty is a good one.

P.S. How does charities and taxes work newayz?

Charity Donations are Tax Deductible

Should give you enough information about it. Anyways, I'll be willing to write content for whatever website.
