I was just talking to Shoe about the potential of creating a WickedFire radio show. I know he's pretty busy and all so I'm not sure he'd fly with it or be able to do it very often, but I was thinking that instead of just making a boring show like the others out there, maybe doing one with more of a comical witty satire approach. You know, with some REAL WF webmaster sense of humor. One of my favorite radio shows out there is one called O&A (Opie & Anthony). They are so fucking funny too. I would love to be able to do something where we can just poke fun at "gurus" and talk about interesting topics that are popular on all of the forums, not just here. Give people a chance to laugh their asses off. Maybe have something where we can have both mods and members take part on a live streaming conference call type deal. I'm not very good at figuring out the tech stuff on how to launch it, but maybe someone here has information or knowledge on the subject. I definitely have the resources (servers) for it.
This is just an idea off the top of my head from when I was just looking back at my beta episode from my blog. It did very well. Had thousands of downloads and listeners. Except for me clicking that lighter, the audio wasn't too bad.
Maybe we'll do something like this in the near future. I'll try and talk to some people at Webmaster Radio and see how they do theirs, maybe they'd be interested in running it for me. We'll see!
