WTF are you even talking about? I called popeye out when he said Obama went on a Bush bashing spree. I linked to an entire transcript of the speech and he ignored it, knowing I was right.

And I'm pretty sure I take part in more of the real world than you ever will.
 


i agree with hellblazer. he's not stupid, and he knows exactly what he's doing. take healthcare for example. obama waited months before deciding to give a general the troops he asked for to fight the war in afghanistan but there was never to be enough time for the health care bill to be exposed in the light of day to the usual congressional hearings and debate - even though the health care program would not actually go into effect until after the 2012 presidential election. the proletariat was not supposed to find out whether the government's takeover of medical care actually made things better or worse until after it was too late. this kind of political activity is very smart, indeed.

There was a poll right after, now how accurate it is I have no idea, but it said something like 57% of people had confidence in Obama and now, after watching, 70% do.

It's like people don't understand the words coming out of his mouth - again all I can say is disheartening.
 
I disagree about him not being stupid. I think he IS stupid. Great with communication, but highly lacking in wisdom, experience and business. Now the people behind him, the people who put him into office, these guys are brilliant. Obama is simply the moron carrying out their plans without even knowing it, believing that he's doing the right thing every step of the way - just like the Caesars who brought down Rome. Obama is not masterminding shit. He has very little difference between a talking head you see on CNN, just more pull with people. He thinks he is doing the right thing, and he thinks printing money will solve the problems. He doesn't know history and he doesn't know business. Totally bought and paid for, totally a tool and not able to recognize what's really going on. Now Bernanke on the other hand, that guy knows what the hell is going on, Obama, not so much.

Gerald Celente sums him up best. He's like one of those leadership students you have in school who will kiss anyone's ass and do whatever it takes to be liked. He will never say anything bad about anyone and be as fake as he needs to be to become the student body president. That's Obama.

And that's why they made America a Constitutional Republic NOT a democracy.

Perhaps it would be wise to ask why everyone calls it a democracy when it is not.

You are raising a great issue. I think a lot of folks (off-forum) would be surprised to learn what the Framers thought about democracies.

Sadly, the populace's belief in democracy has become part of our civic religion. It is routinely pushed upon young minds in the public schools while the notion of a Constitutional Republic is forgotten (suppressed?). Those young minds never grow up. Instead, the young become consumers/voters who never extend their thinking beyond that which is required to watch television, listen to talk radio, and read the newspaper.

you called me out on what? the fact that BO didn't blame the current economic situation on Bush? That BO didn't slam the supreme court's decision right in front of them knowing they can't respond? Taking potshots at the Republicans for disagreeing with his policies.

He did ALL of this. I don't give a shit what he does while he is speaking to the radical base in San Fran. To act like this at the State of the Union shows how arrogant the man really is. The State of the Union is the one speech where he should talk up our country, try to unite the parties. Instead he takes pot shots at everybody that doesn't agree with his radical agenda. He is a fuckin disgrace to try and use the State of the Union to score political points with the American People.

Now what did you call me out on? Are you stating that BO DIDN'T say the things i mentioned? If you are, then no I will not respond any further. I am going to do what I do to my child when she just wants to argue without looking at the facts.......GO TO YOUR ROOM AND STAY UNTIL I ALLOW YOU OUT!

Last time... you said he bashed Bush, then you said he might not have called him by name, but definitely said "[past administration] = George Bush".

He didn't. I linked to the transcript to give you a chance to point it out to me or stfu. Instead you sidestepped the question and wrote half a page that had nothing to do with what I said. Both sides are fucked up. the only way we get out of this clusterfuck is by returning to the framers' concept of a VERY limited federal government, more rights and power to the states.

Like gay marriage? Great. Make it legal in your state. hate it? Move to OK. Same thing with health care.

My objection to Barack Whoblames Obama, all of the lefties, and most of the righties in office right now is not based around their positions on issues - it's based upon the fact that they are taking up issues that have no fucking business being dealt with at the federal level in the first place....

...at least so sayeth the constitution.

If I hear him talking about reducing big business' influence on campaigns again I'm going to throw up. This from the guy with record breaking fund raising and huge donor lists from Citi, GS, JPM employees.

They're all assholes. Vote them all out. Get being your state legislature and support a 10th amendment resolution.

PS To all you assholes who think Bush did this, Google "Glass Steagall Act" and educate yourself.

I don't understand politics well but wouldn't the reason Obama got so much money in campaign donations from Health Insurance companies be because it was something he campaigned to (attempt) to reform while in office? Also, wouldn't the reason he got so much more campaign money from large corporations be because he was projected to win? Democrats like to increase taxes on huge businesses and increase regulations. Republicans cut taxes and lower business regulations. If I was a big corporation I would focus my lobbying money on the democratic candidate too.

Not being sarcastic, if my assumption doesn't make sense please correct me.
 
Obama is a terrible person and a sellout. He works for the banks and federal reserve bank. Use tax loopholes, and seperate yourself from Left Right, and Vote Ron Paul.

His belifes are terrible. Tax the rich they are evil. I bet alot of people on this forum have money and will agree with me that you shouldnt tax the rich higher because they make more money. The more you tax me the higher my service cost, and the less jobs i create. Basic economics but obama learned how to run an economy from Karl Marx.
