I don't know that either is easier, I think Google just takes longer.

I would say google is easier. I got a new site launched and fully indexed in Google in a couple of weeks when it only had a couple of pages in yahoo. (All white hat stuff)

yahoo seems to like me more. i dont know if thats because i'm more optimised for them over google or not.

although google is increasing. 46% of my traffic comes from google these days

Google hates me, and only shows that I have 19 backlinks

Its never updated my backlink count in months
