Where would you live if not in the US?

This. Shit's gonna get crazy here in the next couple years. And yeah we have a good time but don't believe the hype :\

Most people in America are too fucking stupid to realize what's going on around them. They blindly listen to their TV to tell them everything's alright without ever considering who's pulling the strings.

I wanna get the fuck outta here before things get worse than they already are.

Do you always run away when things don't go to your liking?

Odessa, Ukraine for me :)

Worst place to live would be Hong Kong. Dirty, noisy, expensive shithole.

Sounds like 90% of California.

Anyway, fuck the UK; not interested in a police state with everybody's name is Mohammed. Australia was real nice when I went like 5 years ago, not sure now.

Belize sounds grand - how is the interwebz service?

Sign me up for the Ukraine after seeing that picture

Also Thailand, Brazil, Argentina. You can't beat those three

Sydney for me.

I'm suprised Australia hasnt been mentioned much in this thread? I love it.

Sydney is my favouritistist place in the world. It's just too far from anywhere, on a global scale, to ever want to move there. I love everything about it. The people are not that different to Brits, which is nice, and the weather and women are great. I could spend all day sat in Circular Quay and all night sat in Darling Harbour.

I also love Vancouver and Barcelona. I hate the UK with a passion and would like to move one day.

You must live in a shitty country if you want to move to the US. Countries i would prefer over the US:

UK
Ireland
France
Spain
Germany
Denmark
Sweden
Norway
Finland
Iceland
Italy
Hungary
Schweiz
Greece
Netherlands
Belgium

South Korea
Hong Kong
Japan
Australia
Thailand
Taiwan
Canada
New Zealand

Don't move to Belgium it's bureaucracy nightmare and it's an absolute shithole. France is bigger shithole.

Nice troll there, but Hong Kong is considered a developed economy with excellent first world infrastructure.

I wasn't trolling, just giving my opinion. I don't remember saying that there was any problem with the infrastructure or economy. I said it was dirty, noisy and expensive. Transport system was great.

I've been to Bangkok. It's a lovely place, but definitely more dirty than Hong Kong.

There are very dirty parts of most asian cities, but Nathan Road is the filthiest place I've ever been. I was absolutely staggered at what a shithole it was. Bangkok is pretty dirty too, but parts of TST and Central are dirtier than anywhere in any asian capital I've been to. Bangkok is dirty, but it's also dirt cheap. When you're one of the most expensive cities in the world, you should clean up the place a bit! You don't see filthy shitholes like Nathan Road in Tokyo, London, or other places with comparable prices.

Hong Kong has some of the lowest violent crime rates in the world. You don't have to worry about being mugged here like you do in London. Only Singapore has lower crime, but it's super strict while HK is quite liberal.

I've never been mugged in London, although I'm sure Hong Kong is safer. I definitely didn't experience any trouble on any of my visits.

Hong Kong has excellent food and it has a very diverse amount of restaurants. Nightlife is also top notch here.

I'll give you that. The food is excellent. I've had some amazing meals in Hong Kong. They weren't cheap though! As far as nightlife goes, I must have been going to the wrong places. The booze is incredibly expensive, $20 USD for a beer anyone? Didn't think so.

As far as HK being expensive, well yes HK has some of the most expensive property prices in the world. These properties are also excellent investments too.

It's not just the property, it's everything. The food, the booze, the nightlife, everything costs an unjustifiably huge amount of money!

Hong Kong is a place people either love or hate. I happen to love it here.

I hated it.

I don't live in US but if I was to move anywhere it would be Amsterdam without a second of hesitation

God: What's wrong with the UK?

His Tonyness ruined our country. We are country full of lazy layabout slobs who get everything paid for them. We expect to be protected from ourselves and expect the government to wipe our arses and pay for the right to do so.

The press have helped perpetuate a populace full of hate for anyone with anything that they don't have. They're obsessed with celebrity and have turned into a bunch of lazy, good for nothing, jealous idiots who want everything and want it now. They simply sit at home, getting paid to watch Katie fucking Price on their 50" plasma, scratching their bollocks and doing fuck all else.

My country disgusts me. It's a redtape filled bureaucracy full of hatred and laziness thanks to Tony Blair's unbelievably wasteful government.

Obviously there are a lot of good things, but I just look at the way the country was run [lets see how the new government do] and realise it's haemorrhaging money for fun. And that sickens me to my core and makes me want to let this country rot.

LOL, I just finished watching the Century of the Self BBC miniseries recently, and the fourth episode (below) was all about Tony Blair and why he did what he did. (Bill Clinton, too.) I take it you're one of the old Labour party then? Before he gave it a "Facelift?"

Anyway, this problem you hate about the UK is far worse in the US, and is spreading throughout the civilized world like a Cancer that has no cure. -Your new government can't do a damn thing to stop it; it's simply every human's fate.

There are very dirty parts of most asian cities, but Nathan Road is the filthiest place I've ever been. I was absolutely staggered at what a shithole it was.

Sorry but this is gross exaggeration. HK is no more filthy than any other major urban center. Every city has their own Nathan Road, and to be quite honest it's NOT really filthy. I go through Nathan road all the time so I have no idea what the fuck you're even talking about.

I think what you mean by "filthy" is that you don't like having the Indian fake Rolex watch hawkers hassle you because YOU consider them filthy.

There are places in Bangkok FAR more filthy. Hell I remember there were cracks and completely uneven pavement in Bangkok, while in HK there isn't that problem.

It's not just the property, it's everything. The food, the booze, the nightlife, everything costs an unjustifiably huge amount of money!

Then either you're one broke fucker or you don't know how to shop around because you're a clueless tourist.

Though it's true that the high property costs makes everything more expensive. However TO MY STANDARDS I do not find the food particularly expensive here, neither do I find other things like electronics all that expensive either.

These costs are more or less the same as that they were back in the US. It's not going to compare to Bangkok though, but Bangkok has shit infrastructure. Sorry but I don't want to be stuck with a 500Kbps DSL connection.

The business environment here is excellent and there are very few regulations that I have to deal with here compared to back in the US.

I hated it.

No shit, it's pretty obvious.
