I may be independent and small, but you can check the credentials and reference me - we take care of our affiliates more than you can even compare. Payouts, assistance, availability.

The only difference between me and you smaxor, is that I still take the time on AIM to actually respond to my affiliates and I'm not greedy. Maybe that's why you've already lost so much business to the likes of me and C2M.

Maybe you need some assistance building the tallest building - because having the most affiliates does not constitute building the tallest building to me. And, I didn't come in this space trying to be a nice guy - I do things my own way and not everyone understands, but the right people do.

I've run 0 traffic with Ads4Dough and Smax gave me useful information and helped me for about an hour on AIM just today.

I'm with both a4d and eagles network here and really both work the same and act the same. I must say I can get the eagle boys on the phone easier then the a4d people but that's cause I watch my shit like a hawk. Both pay on time and I've never had a problem with both when it comes down to the end of the day its who pays the most, converts the best, and pays on time. Both of these guys so.... Sign up with both and test traffic thats all I can say and if one goes down switch over to the other one thats all. Both of you are both slinging dirt regardless of who gets hit and with how much you both in the end just made a big mess.

actually smaxor responds faster and gives more thorough replies that eagle does when i aim him..

Jason got me my new credentials on Easter morning when I couldn't log in to the new Hitpath interface, so I have no complaints about him at all. It's just my A4D AM who won't speak to me. Hopefully it will get resolved shortly.

@Ryan Eagle: you appear to be quite the asshat. Take that shit back to the playground from whence you came.

Smax is pretty upstanding guy that has helped me alot making money in this biz.. all Ryan has ever done is give me a few good laughs on this forum at his expense.

Smax FTW

this thread is much more useful when used to discuss the merits or lack thereof of database design in various tracking systems rather than the 5000th flamewar

Thank you for the insight dad. now stfu and make me some popcorn the movie just started getting good.

Both A4D and EWA are scammer networks and I vote to blacklist both of them from the forums.

So I talked with hitpath and found out what the problem is. It's not the DB writes from what they're saying it's the Geo Lookup which is slowing the process down. They're making some changes to the backend which should help hopefully :D

200-300K hits in that short amount of time and the fact the tracking software has to index and archive each hit ID is a lot bigger load than most people think. That's a number he posted here when I imagine if it was DDOS'ing the system, was likely considerably higher. I've made my own statements regarding PPV traffic honestly. Two or three pubs turn on the RON campaigns and not only do THEY get reamed in cost because they dont know what the fuck they are doing, if it hurts the system, it disrupts everything else.

Just 0.02 from another Hitpath network.

Hahaha

Mr. Eagle, you sound like a fag. Even if you had the best offers, best payouts, and you personally sucked my dick each and every morning before I started work, I would never run traffic to you.

I think what people are failing to realize is that those 200k clicks/hr were ADDED to all the rest of the clicks. I have absolutely no idea how much the typical amount is, but it makes sense that a steep hike like that, added to the normal load, would cause problems.
