As it's been discussed before, I think this whole "outting" policy is out of control. It's not like these ads are hard to find. .Outing an LP/Creative should be ban imo.

Rejected. I think it is a very fine line and very open to interpretation. If a banner which is just so out there is referenced (and in not an outing fashion) then it doesn't deserve a ban.
Remember that blue widgets policy at Webmaster World? Yeah, taking no outing THAT LITERALLY is just plain douchy.
Maybe you're right, but I'm about to out a creative.Outing an LP/Creative should be ban imo.
It's been 2 weeks since I've asked for some creatives, and I've been asking daily to have them sent to me...and still nothing. How much do I have to beg to get some creatives?...moving onto another network.
of course they are always on the lookout for publisher's violating terms of the network & terms of the advertiser (or non-allowed sources).. the fact is that they don't have the resources to monitor all of the traffic sources out there and it just doesn't make sense to. There are far too many different sources of traffic and with geo-restrictions, day parting, etc - chances are they will never see your ad. In the end - quality talks. If the quality sucks, you'll hear about it within a day or two.I don't understand how any network can allow the pub to design their own banners? Don't most advertiser's require compliance checks to make sure the pubs arent incentivizing, or doing something just plain wrong with their ad copy that could hurt the A's branding in general?
It's easy to make creatives that convert WAY better than any piece of shit the network/advertiser will provide. Creative CTR can vary by HUGE amounts as well as eCPM on a specific creative.I for one don't mind making creatives/ad copy but I've found the networks usually have a ton of them, and always are willing to share which converts the best. I'd rather go that route than trying to drum up creatives and doing all the work myself. Then again, if its working for EWA and nobody is complaining, I sure as hell won't. To each his own.

Most advertisers don't give a shit as long as the quality is where they want it (from my experiences). Yes, some of them will want to approve creatives or demand to see your creatives but only rarely has that happened (to me) and that is for the reasons you mentioned (trademark, copyright, etc). Tell them your creatives are private information and tell them you cannot show them. They'll know how to deal with it and if the advertiser doesn't want the traffic well move on and find another offer who doesn't give a shit. Not used to this approach in all honesty. I've found in the past when we've submitted ad copy we've done ourselves, the Advertiser's get all bitchy. "We don't approve of the fact our logo isnt centered just right", or "Did you have permission to use this girl in the bikini" etc etc. We wound up saying "fuck it" and just using the ad copy provided.
I assume EWA has advertiser's who don't give a shit..
I want a threesome with Ryan and Harrison because EWA is just so sexxayyy

I assume EWA has advertiser's who don't give a shit, which sounds like a relief/pure joy for you guys. Can't say I blame you either.
