Whats the deal with EWA's support?

How did this idiot get in EWA? I thought peeps need invitation or referral coz its a private network?

I was just going to ask who referred him and why - I know a few affiliates that are pretty successful that don't do any of there own ad/web design or coding.

That would annoy the shit out of me, Have to send off a order every time I need something done - So glad I haz teh elite Design and coding skillz.

It's been 2 weeks since I've asked for some creatives, and I've been asking daily to have them sent to me...and still nothing. How much do I have to beg to get some creatives?...moving onto another network.
The chances are the provided creatives the advertiser will send will suck, your probably pushing a rebill right? Don't expect the networks to spoon feed you, and if you do GTFO out of this industry.

Go get a design to make some, they'll set you back 5-25$/banner and if you can't afford those get a job. Gotta agree with sgtryan, your an idiot.

EWA never provides creatives - they don't have to. If you are really that lazy go steal some from one of the other 500 networks that do load creatives into the system.

Here's what happens when you ask the advertiser for creatives:

YOU: MOAR!

ADVERTISER: BRB

ADVERTISER: need some banners cheap

MR 3 for $10 LOGOS: $10 plz

ADVERTISER: OK

(10 min. later)
MR $10 LOGOS: here's UR 4k .bmp filez

ADVERTISER: k thx.

...

ADVERTISER: here ya go, now STFU and sell my shit.

Here I made you a banner. this is the absolute best converting banner in existence. keep it a secret, and don't share it with anyone whatever you do. this is just between me and you

I wanted to post something on this thread again, but instead just figured I'd let the thread die. But since it's back at the top what the hell.

EWA is different than most networks because it only has, well should only have, affiliates who really know what their doing. Can they easily get creatives? Of course they can.

So why don't they? Only Ryan could really answer. But my opinion is that EWA focuses on giving the active affiliate what he really wants and needs. Higher payouts. I was checking out offers on EWA and another popular network and the payout difference was $7 for a really hot offer right now.

Advertisers, as jryan21 greatly put it, won't take the time or effort to test their creatives. They'll get cheap ones done because they know the people who use the freely given creatives won't be doing any real volume. (In some cases like Snoring Solutions they did test the banners and they do do well - yes their are some exceptions etc etc.)

Maybe the reason EWA doesn't provide creatives is because they realize how poorly they usually convert. By not giving them to you it creates a need for you to create, test, track, and see what works instead of saying, "Well I have these, and they convert decent, so whatever."

Indirectly they are making you more money because their forcing you to do affiliate marketing 101. Testing.

...I do get your issue because you were promised some creatives and you didn't get any. But, let's be honest, your AM has much bigger fish to deal with and chances are he realizes, whether it's true or not, that you could very well be one of those people who take the easy way out and don't invest the money they need to properly test, track, and squeeze every penny they can from their traffic. (Benefiting both of you in the end.)

Don't take this as degrading towards you. It's not meant to be. I won't pretend like I'm some super affiliate or mega baller because I'm very far from it - everyone needs to learn/be reminded of even the most basic mindset/rules at some point.
