That playstation home thing looked freaking sweet, but it won't work. Too few women have PS3's.
If they could build a "Home" device that was under $100, you could probably get a lot of women to use it as a virtual "myspace-esque" extension.
It's just like a popular bar -- popular bars are popular because cute chicks go there. Then men show up to meet cute chicks, and spend lots of money and demand increases. It's circular - women show up because it's a cool place, men follow to get women, more women show up because more people are going there (it must be popular for a reason), etc etc. Same goes with online. That's why Myspace took off so quickly - women showed up.
