"The Walking Dead" premiere tonight on AMC

The great thing about this show is that they can go from epic storytelling (episode 1) to action/suspense (episodes 2/4) to emotional (episode 3) to a little bit of everything (episode 5). It's not just gore and zombies, it has a solid plot with a good cast of characters and makes you (well, at least, me) more emotionally involved to the series.

If you don't want to hassle with downloading torrents you can also buy HD quality downloads of every episode from Amazon for $1.99 each, then just remove the DRM and burn them to DVD. $10 to download the first 5 episodes was well worth it, only took a few mins and then burned 'em. I hate wasting time looking for torrents, finding ones that actually work and have decent quality, etc. One time I spent HOURS finding something I wanted, the quality was just OK, then to top it off the movie just froze up with about 20 mins to go at the end. I was freakin' PISSED and have not wasted time with torrents every since lol
I've stayed out of this thread because I knew there would be spoilers and I was always an episode behind. I've been mixed about it. I thought the acting and the lines where down right cheesy at some points but loving the visual effects and the idea of it. Can't stand Lori, although she's growing on me a little. The rest are ok.
I have to say, though, by episode four when the zombies attacked the camp we were like AAAAHHCCCKKKK! I so thought it was going to be that redneck that snuck up on them. Good stuff. It's so rare that I'm surprised by anything, so I really give the show props when they're able to pull that off.

The asian kid is the shit. If the show didn't have him it would suck so bad. I hope tonights episode has alot of action and finishes good. I'm so excited

Get a TV Torrents account and learn to use the "favorites" tags. It is even easier than buying something on Amazon.
I enjoyed the hell out of tonight's show. It was a pretty great season over all.
I'm a bit worried about next season though, considering they fired all the writing staff. I read on one site that they aren't planning on hiring a new staff, but instead use freelance writers. Hopefully that's not the case. A new writing staff could be a good thing though, because, like Turbo said, the dialog can be silly.
