The Super Bowl Commercials

I can't remember a worse year for Super Bowl advertisments than what I saw yesterday. The only one that stood out was the "Farmer" ad for some car company. However, the fact that I only remember 'farmer' instead of what company it was, isn't a good thing.

The eTrade commericials are getting old. I think they need a new schtick.

The one for GoDaddy make me ill to watch. I almost hurled my beer after seeing that kiss.

All in all, a shitty display of creativity and I don't think David Ogilvy would be impressed.

GoDaddy's ad was one of the most successful ad's in my opinion. Everyone was disgusted. Everyone tweeted and facebooked about how horrible GoDaddys ad was.

Mission accomplished.

I guess it does pull an emotional string or two; Gertex has a point.

I had high expectations for the Blackberry commercial, considering the importance of their Z10 launch and all the money they pumped in marketing it. Not that impressed in the end.

Yeah, I'm putting in a vote for the Audi ad as well. One of the only ads that stood out from the pack, which was pretty disappointing.

I probably missed half the commercials, but the only one I liked was the farmer ad for Dodge. GoDaddy was hard to watch but like Gertex said, mission accomplished.

That RAM truck ad with the farmers was pretty compelling. Most take it for granted but my old girlfriends dad was a farmer his whole life and he was one tough dude, that's truly some hard ass work.
