Not that I care to much.
But its only western media posting pictures. They find the shittiest parts and the other media pawns at home blow it up.
(Plus if you do some research; half the pictures are fake) They built the thing from scratch; all of it. 90% of everything is going as planed. The media makes it look like a tragedy.
You would think its the gay issue (maybe for the bloggers); but the bigger issues remain things like snowden.

Don't underestimate the gay issue. This whole media offensive against Sochi was unofficially announced well in advance. And I'm thinking more the Gawker/Buzzfeed type media that bleeds heavily into social media as opposed to Costas & Company. I don't even watch what those clowns are doing.
Journalists at Sochi are live-tweeting their hilarious and gross hotel experiences For an Olympics that cost $51 billion (London 2012 cost $14.39 billion), I'd say the criticism is fair.
Don't Russians hate black people too? I used to hang out with this Russian in college and dude haaaated black people. Black guy would walk buy and he was like a dog getting ready to attack.
The only sport I'm really excited about is hockey. Best players in the world going at it. I hope team Canada doesn't medal. How can you leave Claude Giroux off your team?

Canada vs. Russia for the Gold men & women's hockey games, and we beat them on their own soil. That's going to be the highlight of these Olympics.
I thought the last Olympics were kick ass, especially with the women's hockey, but these may turn out better. Time will tell.
Not just snowden, Putin himself has been very judgmental of the way the US is acting. Further more Syria is on the "attack list" and they need all the leverage they can get.
