The hypocrisy of Pace Lattin and industrypace.com

interesting note: I've opted out of this newsletter 3 times this week, and they keep coming - using an email address only Copeac has ever had.... from like 2-3 years ago.

We didnt give him any emails, please get in touch with me so we can see how this happened. We did mail out his network survey which asked for an email but never released emails.

I wonder if this has to do with the DT breach that happened

On top of that, he was extremely active in the message boards. While I don’t recommend everyone going on boards like WickedFire – and note that many of the members currently hate this publication, he is an active member of WickedFire and several other affiliate communities.

heh.

Your only comment on this thread is this? What about the pubs who got email to an affiliate.com only email?

Did you give Pace your email list?

Mike I've noticed that during this entire thread you've been pretty soft on Pace, but seemed to be very quick on implying that aff.com gave Pace their email database. This is despite the fact that Pace was fired from his position at aff.com for a variety of reasons.

See below:

I was getting pace's "newsletter" when he worked at aff.com still. Just saying, not sure he actually took it or was it given to him so he can do their bidding when bashing their competitors?

Check out the first few posts on the blog, its all sunshine and rainbows for aff.com and death and destruction for any of their competitors.

Now it turns out COPEAC affiliates have been spammed by Pace's newsletter too, and you're backtracking saying it's a DT issue? Why couldn't you give Richter's company the same benefit of the doubt a few pages back?

Are you sure you're not getting caught in a lie here? Richter himself pointed out the following article:

Intermark Media No more: COPEAC's Daddy Gets a MakeGAYOver. - Front - Affiliate & Performance Marketing Expertise

Seems like Pace is really giving you great press right now. That's pretty weird isn't it? It sounds awfully a lot like the "sunshine and rainbows" treatment that affiliate.com has been receiving.

There's one MAJOR problem though. Aff.com got this treatment when Pace was EMPLOYED by them. You on the other hand didn't employ Pace, so one has to wonder what type of compensation he received.

and people mature

I totally disagree. Pace hasn't "matured". He's STILL impersonating a law enforcement officer in his latest copy of his resume. On top of it he was caught lying in this very forum and acted in a very self serving manner.

As far as fences being mend-able, sure. I guess with the right compensation fences can be mended.

You should choose your words more carefully. Affiliates have discerning eyes.

MOAR PICS OR GTFO!

How does Pace have any value in this industry whatsoever? Why is this thread 7 pages? Why do I keep coming back and reading it? What is wrong with me?

I don't know Pace- never have and most likely never will- but through his actions on this board and his own blog, he just comes off as a liability to anyone in this business.

Both Copeac and Aff.com are huge players in this space and why would either want to be associated or mentioned in the same breath as Lattin?

Is the press worth it?

Dude where the fuck does this loser come from? His email list must be stolen and he's claiming to be an authority on fraud and compliance. Is this a joke? His fucking ESP icontact won't terminate his ass.

icontact is in cahoots with this SPAMMER.
