Productivity tools:

ManicTime (free version) (automatic time tracker)
This doesn't really help you directly while you're working, but can make you feel guilty
as hell if you look at it at the end of each day, and helps you to identify where exactly
you're wasting time.

WorkRave (countdown timers)
Primarily for RSI, but can help you stay focused on work too, by working from 'break to
break' and setting an overall time limit for each day. As is always being said on the forums,
3 hours intense work is usually better than 12 unfocused hours. The 'micro break' popups
are a constant reminder that you should be working and that time is passing by very quickly.

CheckVist (online outliner for task lists)
I use Outlook tasks for generally outlining 'jobs' on a scale of days/weeks/months.
I've started using CheckVist for daily lists of tasks that I intend to get through in the next 24hrs.
Great for collaborating, since you can access each other's lists.

I forgot, another productivity tool I've just started using... Firefox speed Dial
Only load your current projects into it; no forums, blogs or news sites.
When you see your projects loaded in every new tab, it reminds you that those
are what you should be opening, not whatever shit you're just about to do.

I know a lot of people here just think the answer to productivity is to 'man up and grow some balls' and 'just do it', and I agree this mindset is definitely part of it, but I also think working efficiently, with focus and organisation, needs to be trained to an extent before it comes naturally.

What the hell, I want to share some good tools and hopefully you can have success with it. I still use this, and it's pretty straightforward. With some tinkering it should give you a boost in SEO and traffic to start with.

Automated Directory Submitter

No more paying for directory submissions !This is a worth while tool to have in posting to directory sites. It brings good traffic and have boosted SEO for a good period. You obviously need to add more and more directory sites to be successful.

ScrapeGenius - Awesome free URL scraper.. Just type in queries like for example

inurl:"ezinearticles.com" +"This article has been viewed 100..100000 time(s)" +keyword(s)
To find popular articles, or
"Most users ever online was 500..100000000" +keyword
to find popular forums in your niche..

and it'll scrape all the urls + check PR.. You need to register for free to use this tho, but it's well worth it :D

Wow, that's a big share.

Here's something I found interesting: Homepage : home

Opensource autoresponder script. Free if you host it on your own site and dirt cheap (if you host it on theirs - something like 19$ / month for 5000 subscribers).
