Jesus H Christ. Not to many things on the internet toot my whistle these days but this is fucking nuts. I saw barmans call and listened and thought wtf is this shit? Then I found this thread.

Oh my.

I'm speechless.

I bet he never uses that lead source again, lol.

sgtryan how do you think he got your information anyway? Your name was obviously filled out for a auto loan somewhere...

I'm in the market for a car.. I was considering a small loan for some funds for getting a car earlier than I thought, but I decided to wait until I have cash to pay it..

I think you guys are taking this too far! Once again it might prove costly for Jon if that Gary Thiem guy decides to fight this thread. At least, the one who registered GaryThiem.Com would have to shell out $180+ bucks to GoDaddy.com and a possible law suit.

i always thought about people suing you for your domain, what i would do is tell them to fuck off and transfer the domain to someone else outside the country

I am outside the country so I'm really not too worried. Even if I were to lose it, the $15 for the domain and privacy was totally worth it. He's the employee of the month after all so I'll leave it up til the end of Jan unless the OP or Jon or someone else important thinks it's going too far and is jeopardizing our safety or something. Thanks for the LoLs guys, that's what it was all about.

I don't know much about the laws of domains and the online stuff but "Telling someone to fuck off and transfer the domain to someone else outside the country won't do you any good. You would be held responsible for all the shit that happened up until you were the owner of the domain.

Anyway, I guess Godaddy is already partying seeing a couple of hundreds of penalty fee in this thread.

Also, Can anyone clarify one doubt for me? Suppose I registered a trademarked domain like Google.Shit (let's assume shit is a new TLD) and then sold (just the domain name, UNDEVELOPED) it to someone, Will I also be held responsible for trademark violation and all the stuff?

No, Google would only have to go after the new owner to try to get the domain. However, if you had a legitimate beef with Google, built a website called googlesucks.com or something like it, and didn't defame or slander Google in the process (or monetize it), the first amendment would likely protect you in the US.

Thanks for the reply Fatbat. But you be careful with Godaddy domains (in this case, godaddy is kind of notorious, also visit nodaddy.com and learn about it) and hosting.

Knowing what these guys are like (I deal with the auto industry quite a bit), i can't be happier to see this guy get completely google fucked.

Nice site! Didnt dare to press the site before, thought about the dickrolling.

But was actually a nice site :)
