7-8 hours, i can't think straight unless i get enough sleep. I've had days where i've gone with no sleep, and it sucks.

I usually sleep from about 6am to 1 or 2pm. Strange hours, but I like working at night.

This one wins the "strange sleeping pattern" award, I think ;)

I like it, though, and did it myself a few times.

I sleep around 9 hours, sometimes 10 hours a night
sleep is great. I hate using an alarm clock :)

You should try the soleil natural alarm clock, it simulates sun rise when it goes off. Very cool.

A lot of people call me crazy... I dont know... I just really dont need sleep to function.

When I sleep I feel like I'm wasting time. If I sleep to long I wake up and I get pissed...
Weird.. i feel the same way too.. sleep is wasting money... :D

i usally get about 6 hrs. a night and am tired all day, but it's the only way to not fall too far behind with all the work i've got to do.

for the last few months though, i've been getting my solid 8 hrs. due to having to let me prego gf get her 8 hours and not keeping her up with my obnoxious typing.

Yeah, the only negative is having to adjust on the weekends if my wife or friends want to do something before the afternoon, but other than that it works pretty well for me.

5:10am monday morning and im still up...this shit is getting old.. sigh
Yeah, fucking up your sleep patterns suck. The worst is when you're up all night working on something that has to get done, when there is a bed right next to you and all you want to do is sleep.

Sam as Jon here as well - sometimes if I have high anxiety going - it works like this: 2 hours work - 1 - 2 hours naps around the clock.
doesn't breaking up your work like that hurt the flow of things? dosen't it take you a bit to get in "the groove" each time you start again?

So it's really your regular schedule ?!?! I thought it was more like a "I pull it off sometimes" thing...

For how long have you been practicing this strange art ?!

I've been doing it for the past six months or so, but it's not always exactly the same. Last night I needed to get some things done and I stayed up until 2pm and slept until 10pm.

And it really is tough on the weekends to be up at all early, so that's the big downfall.

I just don't get as much done when I get up early and work during the day, and I also tend to sleep more on a "normal" schedule, which is a bad thing.
