Silk Road and Bitcoins - Buy drugs online?

I just registered to ask this question. How would a person be able to get the two referrals on Silk Road to get started? Do you have to know someone already on there?

Just go sit in the IRC channel for a few days. Or... you know... find a drug dealer in your hometown like a normal person.

God I hope I don't ever resort to buying drugs online. But then again Canada's, espeically BCs "war on drugs" is a real half assed attempt.

Yes, the spike is due to all of the attention Silk Road got from the press. People couldn't buy bitcoins fast enough (seriously, that many people can't find drugs by walking out their front door?) and the price spiked due to demand. Now that people are starting to give up on buying coins, due to the spike in price, amount of time it takes to buy them, and Silk Road being down, the price is dropping.

This shit will be back below $2 by the end of the Summer.
 
Anyone got any liberty reserve/mtgox/bitcoins they wanna sell? Or can recommend a cheap way to get money in?

My bank charges a $50 fee for international wire transfers -.-

So...

1) Buy when price drops to $2
2) Wait for 20/20 or the like to do a full story at prime time
3) Watch the site become flooded once again and price jump up to $30+ again
4) ???
5) Profit by having shop set up to sell bitcoins to people who aren't cool enough to know about the guy down the street that sells the same shit.
 
I bought in with chump change when it was at $0.60/BTC just because I thought it was cool. Bought just 200 coins.

Kicking myself for not just blowing a grand.

I can get loads of drugs IRL, but there are certain things online that I simply wouldn't be able to get IRL, more rare chemicals or just higher quality shit.

Yeh I could buy Ketamine but its not gonna be anywhere near as good as buying the pure crystal shit you can find from vendors. Not that I do either of those things but an example.

A lot of people wouldn't be able to get LSD, it's not a common drug to sell for drug dealers because it's not addictive and people who do it usually do it occasionally - and now they can get it.
