Hi everyone,
I am back with the Pumper Sites. See thread 1 for more details.
I took time to deliver all the orders from the previous thread and to actually track & analyze how my delivered pumpers perform.
I looked at indexation, stick rate and rankings of all the properties I've built. Note: I did not track the money site rankings simply because there are too many unknowns there. Although I have a lot of people getting in touch and saying they saw an increase, I can't back that with my own data.
As a result of my analysis I’ve updated my platform list: removed those that are occasionally deleting properties and left those that perform best. Moreover, I got more server power so the links to the pumpers are being built steadily and cruelly now. Now some stats:
Keywords
If you’re wondering what keywords to submit, I can tell you that it worked best with under-the-radar keywords: local business, product & product review ones mainly.
Here's an example of the kind of keywords this has worked great for so far. All # of searches data is measured with TermExplorer, monthly local search volume exact match:
Several orders have done an impressive "Occupy Page 1" move. One of the customers actually takes top 6 spots for his keyword - the money site and the 5 pumpers. The keyword is not high-volume, but is extremely targeted for that business.
Now, as I said I did not get in touch with every customer asking if the money site gained in ranks and traffic, but I got repeat customers saying that it happened. In fact,
21% of all orders after 1 month of operation were from repeat customers.
Penguin?
Yeah, all this was measured on Onctober 11-12, so these numbers above are all about Penguin 2.1 survivors. None of the pumpers had a drastic ranking decrease or got deindexed on October 4th. I build links with very diverse though still relevant anchors, and the pumpers do not trigger any penalties.
Now, the 5-7 links to YOUR money site are totally up to you. Some people order 1 anchor throughout all properties, some order 5. What seems to work best is to hit 5 different pages/keywords of your site: there's a lot of randomization here so you might want to give several keywords a chance, one of them might jump higher than you expect it.
Here's a couple of reviews from the first round for those who missed it:
TL;DR
You are getting around 5 pumper sites: pages/sites/profiles that are properly optimized in terms of onpage SEO, links out and some platform-specific tricks. These pumper sites then get a lot of links from diverse platforms which makes them both channel a lot of link juice to your site and rank high themselves.
Here's the TAT and the timeline for this:
- You place an order and get redirected to the details form;
- I receive all your URLs and keywords (up to 5 of each) and start working on it;
- You get the report with all the pumper URLs and login details in 7 business days max after that;
- After 2-3 more days I re-check all your sites to make sure they're not deleted and start sending tons of links to them;
- Around 5-7 days after the blast the pumpers start bouncing up and down at the lower ends of SERPs, gradually rising.
This is roughly the time you should start seeing improvement in your main site's ranks.
If you haven't tried this, do it.
If you have tried this and hated it - get in touch with me and I'll see if anything went wrong with your order.
If you bought it before and loved it - now's the best time to buy it again!

- 15% of orders jumped to page 1
- 60% of orders settled on pages 2-9
- 25% of orders ended up below 10th page but are still indexed and channeling link juice to the money sites. Those are mostly manually moderated niches or really competitive ones. I am now going through all of these and running additional links to some of them wherever I feel they got less than others. I expect at least half of them to move up.
