PS4

The last console I owned was PS3, and before that was Super NES..... I also realized my custom PC is always going to be a step ahead of any console. Just the concepts of game-joining, new responsive remotes, etc seem fun. They'll probably be in PC in no time.

I don't know. All I know is the cost of a PS4 is going to piss me off enough to not buy one. You guys will be picking them up for a simple $500 or so, and I'll head downtown to find out they're $1600 here.

The last consoles I owned were PS2 and the original Xbox. I bought them specifically for Gran Turismo and GTA San Andreas. Once I bored of those games, and I bore easily, the only time they ever got used was when someone came over. I don't have people over often enough and so they just sat there collecting dust while I did all my solo gaming on the PC. I doubt I'll get the next gen of any console TBH.

Gran Turismo was big time back then. Loved it.

I stopped being a console gamer after PS1. I'm so thankful to have been a gamer during the NES/SNES/Genesis/PSone years. Some really great games came out during that time frame.

I took a MSI Wind u100 netbook and basically made it into a PS1/Sega/NES EMU with a USB Playstation controller, highly recommend for nostalgic gamers.

OMG I got my mom to mail me my PS2 so I can finish where I left off on Final Fantasy 8. lol looks like lots has happened since I've stopped gaming.

Fuck, I'd goto the store and buy one for you if that's the case.

SNES > all other consoles

Chrono Trigger, Zelda Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Super Mario World and Super Mario RPG, Street Fighter II Turbo, Final Fantasy II & III, Earthbound, Mega Man X etc - great fucking games back then.

Dreamcast was one of my favorites as well.

Yeah bro this is a good choice... you can do it with xbox 1 too which is fairly simple to hack. Personally i buy consoles based on how hackable they are cause you know SNES9x is gonna be out and you'll be able to play the best oldies.

Man i miss my childhood

I dunno why they're obsessing over social features. That's what Facebook and Twitter are for, and people use their phones and tablets for that shit. People don't buy a console so they can tweet or socialise, they buy it so they can *play games*.

"How can we stay ahead of the competition, team?"

"It's all about social now, boss! Everyone wants to tweet and facebook at all times!"

"Cool, slap some social features in the next console and we'll talk them up!"

Stupid suits.

I like how we got to sit through a two hour console reveal mc'ed by the dullest flannel wearing gay guy in existence and then didn't see the console.

Yeah, it'll be a good 300% more than what you guys pay, because the government will deem it a "luxury item". For example, I can pickup a PS3 in Canada for $250, whereas I went downtown here and it was $600.

I should just head to one of the Sony factories about 100km away, and cut a deal with one of the workers to grab me a PS4 off the line. :)
