Does this work off our windows desktop or do I have to install on a server? Do you have a site with any info on your product?
 
Ok Matt. I've sent you a PM, My coder sent a PM, I've offered you money to fix the situation...and you STILL haven't responded to me.

We're trying to run proxyfinder on a ubuntu 9.10 server, and it's very easy to set up - but it's just NOT WORKING. Either something has broken, we don't have the latest version, or it simply doesn't work anymore. Either way, I would appreciate a response from you. My coder would appreciate a response from you. RESPOND TO ONE OF US PLEASE.

so its safe to assume this program is scraping proxies from a different source than the spammed out junk free proxies scrapebox finds?

and also would this be more beneficial than privateproxy and proxybonanza etc? is this more like getting unique ips for myself? mainly looking to use it to get successful posting in sbox

allbizniz: it sounds like you're running vista SP1, if you are, either upgrade to SP2 or apply the patch mentioned earlier in the thread. Running this on shared hosting will get you instabanned. Use a VPS for it. I plan on launching a hosted proxyfinder service soon, which you may be interested in.

was about to buy this when i saw this post. it looked like a desktop app am i wrong and need to upload it and run it off my hosting server?

what is different between this and adding my own sources to sbox?
 
I got the download and unzipped to my desktop but do not know what to do next I would of loved to have gotten a simple text file with some details on how to use.
Anyone that is using this I would appreciate any help here with some details on how to use.

It comes with a python version if you want to run it on a server

There would be no difference if all you were doing is using SB but for others the built in updating for Megapinger proxy file it is great. Plus the call back URL so I can send the fresh proxies to my server to use them
 
Is it just me or has the Scraper site count number gone way down this week?

After about 10 minutes I'd always gotten 100+ proxies before this weekend, but now since friday or so I am getting a max of like 48 resutls. (35-48 every time.)

Did some major proxy sites go down or something? I'd hate to have to go find my own...
 
Great Product and Cheap!

My only qualm with it is that the returned count is very low.

I know with scrape box I can get back 100-150 for every 4000, but at 1/3 the cost, receiving 1/3 the amount of proxies is understandable ;)
 
This is not registering for me, and I've sent Matt an email, and then later a PM, etc. I purchased this 4 days ago. 1 more day and I will just go to paypal to get my money back. Consider this a first/last bitch to get some service.

And btw, I created/sell a proxy finder & tester for the same price that is listed on Download.com. Buying from Matt was nothing more than an attempt to expand knowledge, methods, and extraction methods.

if were all using the same default sources how would this be any better than sbox or other proxie finders as they are all going to be spammed out and banned eh?

how do we find our own original spam/ban free sources to pull prox from?
