Alright here is my review of this service.
I ordered(paid) on 17 oct 2009 and received the report on 24 oct 2009. (7days)
I waited a 12 days after receiving the report to post this review in order to leave enough time to blog authors to approve the comments to see what would be the approval rate.
The report is a .txt file with url to each blog post. ( it would have been nice to get an excel where you only have to click on the url to open the pages )
Now I can see that most of these blogs are totally unrelated to my niche, the blogs were supposed to be related to the niche, this is what is advertised. I counted about 10 url, out of the 100 url listed, that had one of the keywords that matched / were related to my keyterms that I am trying to rank for, however out of those 10 url only 2 of those had content that is actualy somewhat related to my niche, the rest were on unrelated niche which had common keywords.
Then I randomly checked 36 urls ( ~ 33% of 100 submissions).
Out of the 36 urls, I found only 5 of my comments. Comments were dofollow as advertised. 5 out of 36 gives me ~ 15% success rate, which is far from the advertised 50-60% approval rate, maybe i was unlucky, maybe i randomly picked the wrong urls... maybe... But also worth noting, most of the pages that did accept my url often had a bunch of other people's comment that were clearly there for seo purpose, with keyword author names instead of real name... with too many links on the pages, it reduces even farther the value of those few backlinks that i got...
This low success rate is rather disappointing, I myself did not use real author name but I did give 2 options for author names : one that was using "2 keywords" as author name, and the other one was more subtle but still included 1 keyword in the name. I saw both being used in the accepted comment which is good. I wonder if success rate would have been noticably better with a fake author name.
I also noted a few of my accepted posts had spammy comments such has :
" I like your topic as well as your post.I agree with your all opinions given by you in your post." < --- I copy pasted that.
Of course using those type of comment + using keyword author name + unrelated niche blogs = very very low chances of success.
Bottom Line :
I paid 12$, its not a bid deal, but next time i'd rather spend it on something else as this service isnt really worth it IMHO.
