I sent you yet another PM and request for your work.

If you don't reply in 12 hours I understand what you are about.

Don't you dare imply that he isn't what he says he is. I will personally vouch for him and swear that he does some of the best quality copy/content work around, and for a very good price too. So just because you're Mr. Impatient over there, doesn't mean he's at fault. Ya dig?

PS- He didn't ask me to come here and write this for him, I came to it and couldn't hold back when someone is trying to bash one of the really few good copywriters out there because they are at fault.

Two posted and two pms and not so much as a "fuck you I am busy and will reply in 6 months"!

"Think of this place as the stock market. Loud, bustling, and tons of angry people demanding all sorts of things, using words your mother would kill you for saying."

Good copywriters are worth waiting for. They are hard to come by, and Geekcognito is providing his services for a song. So, yeah, just chill man.

Ouch. Sands, I can understand your impatience, dude. However, in light of me being a bit backed up from getting pulled away this weekend I haven't been taking any new orders until I get the existing ones out of the pipe, so to speak.

And no, I didn't ask Jon or Mike to come to my defense. I've just been super busy making sure that the people that have already paid are getting the best service they paid for.

Perhaps I should have answered your PMS with a polite "I'll get to you when I can" but that, to me, implies a haughty attitude that I didn't want to send. I figured that my apology earlier in the thread would have let on to anyone that I was busy getting existing orders straightened out.

Sorry to anyone for the confusion.

All existing orders will be filled by tomorrow afternoon. This includes everyone that has paid or has made an agreement with me.

Thanks for your patience, guys, and I will be sure to be more transparent in what's going on from now on.

***edit*** All PMs will be replied to by the end of the day. I'm sure that you will appreciate it when I give your project my sole attention when I am working on it.

Ok Man!

I contacted you because of your rep as being the best here.

Maybe Create an auto responder that PMs your customers that your busy and sahll revert soonest possible.

I am new to all of this and did not realize how long some things may take.

Hey everyone,

I want to let everyone that has ordered content from me to know that you guys have been some of the best people to deal with online and that is why I offer my writing services to WickedFire members and WickedFire members alone.

I have since learned, however, that providing unique, quality, grammatically-correct articles at price that I am currently offering it for is not fair to me or people that order from me. I simply can't fill all of the orders that I am receiving in my inbox day after day and I have been getting severely backed up.

I have spoken at length about this matter with another quality content author that provides articles for WF members, Yoink *gasp*. The time we are putting into these articles is just not sufficient for the current rates that we are charging.

To put it in perspective, many people order 400 word articles from me. These take no less than 20 to 30 minutes to research and write and then another 10 minutes or so to proofread. That equates to about 45 minutes of steady work.

Yoink *gasp* and I have worked hard at building and maintaining good reputations here at WickedFire and I believe that people that have ordered articles from me in past will agree that I do deliver quality work. However, when I cannot meet deadlines that I agree to, my reputation begins to suffer. I also have to turn away a lot of people that are looking for articles to be written, and that is not fair to them.

Under the new pricing guidelines, I will be charging $.0225 per word. That keeps the price low enough that anyone will still be able to utilize my services in bulk form, get great content, and my eyes will hopefully stop bleeding from staring at the LCD monitor for 17 hours a day. :)

.0225 cents per word equates to:

200 word articles = $4.50 apiece (minumum order of 10)

400 word articles = $9.00 apiece (minimum order of 5)

500 word articles = $11.25 apiece (minimum order of 4)

I know that there are other content authors that provide similar services for less, but I can guarantee that when you receive my articles that they are 100% genuinely unique and not just rewritten, recycled content from somewhere else. If you've ever bought content from other forums for a lower price then you probably know what I'm talking about.

I am currently taking orders again for delivery this week and this weekend.

I also have two orders that I am working on at the moment but obviously we made the arrangement prior to this pricing change, they will receive the old pricing structure.

Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions.

All PMs have been replied to. Anyone that PMed me before today will, of course, get their order for articles under the old pricing structure as well.

Geekcognito, it's all about setting expectations.

You accepted my order on 26th April and advised me that you would start the work on Sunday 29th with a view to delivering them to me by Wednesday 2nd May. However, there was a delay and I said that was ok as long as you got at least some of my articles to me by the weekend, which you said you would. It is now Friday 11th May and I haven't received anything and I am starting to get concerned as I paid for the articles up front.

I sent you a PM about this again yesterday and you have not responded. Please advise when you will send me my articles or if you will be refunding my money.

I wanted to work with you because of your reputation on here and I still do, but when you keep setting delivery dates and then keep missing them with no explanation (without me chasing you anyway), you can understand why your reputation might suffer. I believe people will pay more money for quality work as long as you deliver what you promise

Ferraristi,

I just emailed you the first set of articles for you to look over. I'm not going to argue with you, but I've responded to all of your PMs as soon as I've logged into WF. As a matter of fact, I contacted you initially to tell you that I was delayed because I had to go back and write 16 of the articles over again. So I don't appreciate the insinuation that I have been avoiding you.

Sometimes projects take longer than I would have liked, but I do believe that I've been in contact with you enough. If you believed otherwise, you had my email and both of my IM screennames ever since we first made an agreement. I would have appreciated an IM or email if you had any questions at all. I'm sorry if I don't check the forums regularly enough to catch PMs as soon as I get them.

I didn't see this reply in my thread until after I just logged in. Otherwise, I would have just emailed you to see if you would rather have your money back than the articles.

I did let you know that I would be later than the date that I originally set, but I have never dodged anyone and I have constantly been available via IM, PM, and email. In fact, I've posted on the forums several times since then.

I'm not running off with your money or anything so if you would like a partial refund (for the articles that I have not yet delivered) then you can simply let me know. Otherwise, respond to the email that I just sent, let me know if those articles are what you expected (I always send a partial order for large orders so I can make sure you like what you are getting) and I will have the rest to you today and tomorrow if I do have to edit.

I don't want a working relationship to go sour. Especially since it technically would be my fault since I am the one that had to delay on the initial time that I set to be done, but the fact that you say that I have not been in communication with you is more than a little bit unsettling.

Dude, maybe my previous post was a little misleading. I didn't mean to imply that you didn't communicate at all, just that you didn't respond to my last message.

Yes, I have your email address, but to be honest, as I sent you PM's then you would have been notified about them by email anyway.

Anyway, I agree we shouldn't let a working relationship go sour and if you are willing to write more articles for me in the future I am willing to buy them as your work is good quality and you obviously care about your work.

But, if I may offer a bit of advice? Don't try to set deadlines you will struggle to meet, then you will never disappoint anyone.

By the way, I don't really want a refund. I would much prefer to have the articles.

Well, I just inquired about getting a rather large order in and he was VERY upfront with me. He said I'd have to wait until next week before he would be able to begin on this bulk order I need.

So if anyone is wondering, he IS being honest and IS taking care of his prior engagements before accepting new ones. For the amount of work he is doing, I don't blame him for signing off AIM and ignoring emails/forums while he is working his ass off. Distractions are a key thing to avoid to maintain focus.

Well, either way, I felt I needed to share my experience in dealing with the great cognito. Excellent copywriters are hard to come by.

Like SEO_Mike says, excellent copywriters are worth waiting for. I even told him he could fit other people's orders in-between mine. That's because you get better shit being patient. :)

If you want 1000 rehashed junk articles written for $10, take that shit to DP.

geekcognito - Can you please reply to pms or e-mail? I'm starting to wonder if you've gone AWOL because 2 deadlines have past and I haven't heard a anything from you. I had high expectations based on the reviews going in and paid you the $125 upfront because I figured there would be little risk. I'm pretty disappointed at this point and I'd really just like a refund unless you can produce the article today.

I got an order of 25 articles done by geek a few weeks ago and they were of very high quality. It's worth the wait when you get quality end products instead of absolutely awful written garbage.

I second this. geekcognito delivered to me 10 articles and they were all great quality stuff. The wait was worth it and the price is unbelievable compared to results.
