- Gives you more bargaining power for link exchange. Lets face it, some people just dont want to know when you're offering pr0 :hollering:
- You can sell links on your site, although prices seem to be getting lower and lower. You won't get much for a p4 link on, say, digital point. Although you might want to try text-link-ads.com. I've yet to try it but, according to their link value calculator, a single link on one of my pr5 sites with a whopping 10 uniques a day is worth $40/month
- You can also trade links for short term things things like forum posts, bulletins etc.
All my sites stayed the same with the exception of one. A site with no PR, an article I wrote got a PR 5 and the index got a 4. Doesn't mean much, unless I sold links to people
I'm not seeing much action with this update. Most of my sites are stuck at PR4. I've gotta get over that hump. One of my sites is a PR1, which is just plain sad. It's challenging to be crappy enough to just get a PR1.
PR means much to me, in terms of advertising and text link ads.
For instance, I use Text Link Ads on all of my sites. My revenue from them is about $1K per month. You can submit as many sites as you want to them, but it seems they will only accept PR3 (maybe 4) or higher - - and a site with a decent Alexa ranking, too. At least that is what I've found.
My PR6 sites pay out much better from them than, say, my PR4 or 5 sites.
